Couldn't of asked for a better holiday food was lovely staff were great entertainment was great for the kids regular bus service to beach and Mahon.

We had our family holiday at the sur menorca and a group of us travelled consisting of Adults and Children. The rooms were basic but very comfortable and clean, the maid cleaned daily and did an excellent job of cleaning up the sand after us!

We booked this hotel on an all inclusive basis and we couldn't really fault anything, we felt that there was adequate choice on food and this was available most of the time.

The hotel is situated in Punta Prima a short stroll from a fantasic beach, if you don't fancy walking they do offer a complementary vehicle to drop you off and pick you up.

We also hired a car from the hotel and this was a must for us as we got to travel around the island for a few days and see cituadela and Mahon, if you can't drive then there is a fantastic public transport network across the island although this generally closes down for a few hours around lunch.

I would visit this hotel again.

we stayed in October this year 2011, we arrived to a very welcoming friendly, sincere receptionist. We were very happy when we first entered our room to find we had a suite with four rooms!! it was apparent throughout the stay at Club Sur Menorca that they take great pride in the runnings/management of the Hotel the cleanliness was first class, maids were excellent, the waiting on staff in the Restaurant were all very smart well presented, friendly, and professional, the food was always well presented, well cooked and varied, these were the three things that stood out the efficiency of the maids, the professional efficient waiters and nice food . The entertainment was good for the kids and the reps were very friendly and good at their jobs. We would definitely return to Menorca again and would stay at this Hotel again. We were pleasantly surprised here in that this hotel is only three star when in fact it does have the potential to become a four star.

I stayed here for a half term break with my daughter and 4 grandchildren. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionish was lovely and so obliging. She gave us the keys to our rooms/suite and directions past the pool bar etc. Firstly we could not find the room, secondly when we did find it it was up steps then another flight up to the door. I went back to reception to query this and was given another room. This was easier to find and then my eldest grand-daughter was staying in one of the first rooms allocated but the key would not fit. On asking the maids she directed us and if we had known where the rooms were we would have been next door to each other but luckily we were only a pathway away.

The suite is good for families, we had bedroom with en suite a further twin room, bathroom and lounge/kitchenette. As we had a year old this was great as we could make her bottles and warm her baby food.

The suite did smell musty and the blankets in the wardrobes which we needed as it went cold at night also smelt musty and certainly not freshly laundered. The maids did keep the rooms/bathrooms nice and clean. Oh and I must mentioned the invasion of ants. They came down from the vent in the wall in columns!! The ants went into a plastic bag which had the baby's washing in but the maid came and sprayed them which certainly eradicated them.

The pool is a nice area but very cold. The food was good, not quite the variety I have had at other hotels but what was there was cooked and served up well. They are very strict about snacks being eaten in the restaurant which is a shame as you miss out on the entertainment because the snacks were served betweek 9.30 and 10.00 pm at night, aswell as in the day.

The entertainment was quite good, with a tribute to the Temptations group on one night which was a great evening and very enjoyable. The entertainment finished quite early and bar closed at 11pm. Not a bad thing if you had children.

If you just want a family holiday away from it all then this hotel would suit you. There is a bus stop right outside to take you to Mahon. It is a 15-20 minute into Punta Prima but there is not alot there.

I would not return to this hotel or area.
