Hotel is very big, there are two kind of rooms renovatede and unrenovated. We got unrenovated although we asked for the new one (price is the same, they don't allow you to pay extra for the new room).
Our room had an old dirty carpet with stains all around, like all carpets in the hotel ( on the corridors, in the dinning room). Bed on my side was ok., but on may husband side was broken. We stayed there for 10 days, cleaning lady was cleaning the room partially (one day she didn’t clean the bathroom, other day the room). They change our sheets only once. But in that 10 days she never cleaned balcony, although we know she was on the balcony because she moved chairs, but she didn't sweep pine needles, or the water (it was raining quite a lot). Renovated rooms have a wooden floors, and completely new bathrooms.
Restaurant have a big terace and you can eat outside and that's about it. Food preparing does not include any imagination, almost the same food every day, and they use really cheep groceries.
In hotel bar prices are really normal, i should say cheep comparing to the other bars.
Children animation is great, animating girls are relaly nice, funny and they are working really hard.
Beach... what to say, it is not "normal" beach, it is more like little teraces and you have to jump from one to another to come to the sea. Prices in bakery near by the beach are huge, and food is not tasty, and sandwich in bar across the beach is 30 kunas, wauuu.
Jelsa is small town, not much too see, but it is nice to walk around.
From original souvenirs you can buy only lavanda (native herb) and nothing else.
Staff in restaurant and cleaning ladys are polite, but stuff on the reception is rude and very unfriendly.
You can go to this hotel, but without big expectation, and than you maybe find it ok.
