We stood at Pension Ivan, a family managed pension, runned by its friendly owner, Mr. Ivan.
We stood in an apartment made of a living room, one bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. I must say that the apartment was good, clean, comfortable and newly furnished, well equipped, with A.C., TV and stereo. There is also a family restaurant, where they serve nice grilled fish and meat.
We had two little children and we thought that for us would be more comfortable to stay in at nights, but we realized that the restaurants in Sucuraj were cheapest, were never crowded as we feared, and as much as good as the dinner at the pension’s restaurant.
Sucuraj is a nice place to stay in the far east side of Hvar island, maybe not suitable for young people in search of fun, but for families in search of a very tranquil place with a beautiful crystal sea. I recommend to explore this luxuriant island, you must go to the west side of the island and leave from time to time the main road for exploring the beautiful little bays around. The road from Sucuraj to Hvar is not so dangerous as some people relates on the web, you must drive carefully, slowly and enjoy the beautiful sceneries it offers to you. Hvar capital is a beautiful and interesting town, but very crowded and full of young people, however is a must to see it.
