We had booked it from a know travel agent in our city as the picture was quite attractive hoping to get a Valley View Room. As our travel was fun seeing nature so close to you, we felt rejuvenating. Hoping the same we head towards the hotel, once we reached the hotel we were welcome by lovely people in the Reception. We were served with welcome drinks then escorted to the room, as we had see in the picture we received the same room. As we had our dinner inclusive in the package we had to go to the restaurant where we had the dinner and was great with a great service. Then we went to Casino as they made our entry to the casino complimentary were we enjoyed a lot with live shows in the casino. Next morning the breakfast was good, with lots of cuisine to go for especially I liked the “TING MOMOS” accompanied with local Chutney it was nice. I would like to thank people standing in the reception who helped us lot to know about the city and tourist places.

we have gone to Darjeling on vacations in December , we have choose the royal plaza to stay because of its name and class.

This hotel is very nice in terms of ambiance and facilities( its a bit expensive as well) we paid around 4200/- for room , rooms are big , clean , nice view , and sometime you can get lucky to upgrade your room in to suit on nominal price depend upon the availability.

the only problem we have face is food which is very expensive compare to other hotel in gangtok , there are very few good Veg. restaurant in gangtok.

our overall experience was very good and pleasant.

Amazing hotel, i enjoyed staying there, Good food, comfort stay & lots of entertenment. My friends & my Family enjoyed lot in ower holiday by staying in this hotel. I suggest all travellers to stay & enjay in this hotel. Casino is the best entertenment in this hotel, it starts from 4 PM to 6 AM, you can enjay whole night. i Rate This Hotel Excellent.

First time found a hotel in the North Eastern India , where we tourist get a traditional welcome with Arti -Tikka by the Sweet Little Little Girls as a true symbol of the Hospitality and in the field services at The Royal Plaza is a part of the Sarovar Hotels & Resorts .This hotel is really a luxurious one having above 80 elegantly decorated rooms - but the room rates are comparatively high . The valley view rooms are really appreciated . We thank to the 1st shift GRE Girl & the Manager at the Front for an unique hospitality - which made our stay memorable . We will be suggest to all our friends for this property . This property does not have Spa & Night Club . We met a Manager , who is pleasantly offered me a Visiting Card on my Arrival , Mr. Kumar De , as per him Spa is under the Maintenance but I request to the Sarovar Royal Plaza to be keep a Spa operational without any excuse . The receptionist Doma is also very very helpful , she shows a true hospitality towards the Guests - patients cutting accross barriers ....
