Don't even think about anything just ask Mr, pradhan he is always there to help you out.
Mr. pradhan has arranged our pick up and drop to bagdogra airport even his innova waited for us for 6 hour because our flight was canceled at guwahati (don't go for kingfisher they are fraud instead of KF u can go for go air and jet airways) even he made my whole tour for pelling and kalimpong and that was superb each and everything was full of joy and perfect as specified in mail or tel conversation.

“Excellent!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

Rhenock House in Gangtok proved to be a worthy choice for staying in Gangtok!!

I had visited this website for reviews, and now as I am back from my holidays, I wish like commenting only GOOD about this hotel/villa.

Mr Ravi Pradhan, the owner of the hotel was very warm in welcoming us. Even on the day we reached, the staffs also made us feel good.

Food is good, ambiance is great, hospitality is excellent!! I look forward to recommend this hotel for travelers who wish to stay in a 3star experience!

Next time I visit Gangtok, I shall stay in The Rhenock Villa for sure.....

“Lovely Place to Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

I had gone in July with my 9 year old son, It was the perfect place to stay. Walkable to the mall - but away from the crowds. Ravi Pradhan has made a fantastic home away from home, the staff were great. In fact my son played Ravi's guitar and also played with the cook's daughter - highly recommended

“Rhenock House Friendly Stakk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

We had a very nice time at Rhenock House. The good things going for it is that it is in a quiet part of town with a nice view below it., with most rooms having nice large scenic window views. The place is meticulously kept up, not luxurious, but very comfortable. Best of all was the owner, Mr. Pradhan who really went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, giving us good advice on all, even driving us to a trekker's shop on one occasion. Rest of the staff is very nice. Their english is passable, but could be a bit better. Biggest downside i found was that the restaurant had no night heating. Actually the whole lobby has no night heat. Gangtok can get quite cold at night. They bring you a little portable electric heater, which really helps inside the room, but doesn't do much inside the larger areas of the inn. Food was quite good, selection was too limited and they took a very long time to prepare it. But everything was done with a smile and the way we liked it. I found it a bit on the pricey side comparing with other similar places, but the staff attention and quiet relaxing environment made it well worth it. Would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: Upper level rooms have better view. Double bed rooms are a lot nice than ones with 2 single beds.

“Great place to stay with family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

We stayed in Rhenock house for 2 nights during our 4 night Gangtok and north sikkim trip. We had a good and relaxing stay in Rhenock house. My kids had a great time in the small and beautiful garden in Rhenock house.

The staff was very courteous and Mr Pradhan helped us plan our entire trip including the lachung and lachen stay and also the pickup and drop from Baghdogra airport. He also took payments by credit card which is always a convenient option to carry cash while travelling.

Rhenock house has a nice view of Gangtok city and is very close to MG road (1kms). The good part is it is so close yet away from the noisy vehicles on the road.

It is a small property, do not expect recreation like indoor games or pool etc.

I would recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing stay in Gangtok and have kids or elderly people travelling with you. Rhenock house can also be a base for visiting north and east sikkim.
