We stayed (2 couples) for 2 nights in December 2011 and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, with balcony, staff friendly and efficient. It was within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go - located in the heart of the french area. Check in / Checkout quick and smooth, everything was working, the staff were helpful and the cost reasonable. We would certainly recommend this hotel to other "mid price range" travellers.

We stayed at the Inn for around 10 days last month and it was a real home away from home. First of all the location is super, very central and with easy access to the beach, the main streets, the french quartier and all the hot spots in town. The executive room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and well designed with a spacious balcony and a view. The bathroom was modern and the shower was a pleasure.
The staff, specially Senthil, were all very courteous, helpful and willing to do everything possible to make our stay awesome. We asked for food that was free of all chillies and that is exactly what we got every time we ordered room service, without having to even mention the special request ever again. Tasty delicious food, well worth the price.
There are no words to express how the owner of the place Bina, was present every single day and looked after us so very well. She is an amazing lady who has truly understood the concept of hospitality and has managed to materialize it on a daily basis in her hotel. Charming, helpful and friendly - she made us feel so welcome and at home, it was incredible, beyond words!!!
We will definitely be going back and look forward to our visit to Pondicherry - grateful to have found this precious gem of a Hotel in this lovely town.

A very good experience considering the terrible stay at Thanjore. Real value for money and more importantly located in the heart of French town. Ideally located and place to unwind. would certainly stay when I visit this place next.....

I stayed here with my family from the 23rd of Dec till the 25th of Dec.
The guy at the reception was courteous. Check in was smooth.
The remote to the AC in my room was not working. Called for room service and got it replaced in a jiffy.
The rooms were spotless. So where the toilets. Hot water available any time.
On 24th evening, the staff came to our rooms and wished us for Christmas with a gift (a delicious piece of cake). This gesture looked beautiful as the staff were professional and genuine.
The staff helped us with info on places around to visit.
Check out was smooth as well.
As a whole, the experience was too good and we'll go back for sure.
