Well maintained and VFM - Best Hotel in pondicherry. Cordial Staff and great food. All in all the place to stay in Pondicherry.

We choose this hotel for our 3 day holiday(20th - 22nd Jan 12) trip to pondicherry after going through reviews on Trip Advisor. we were never disappointed. A Very nice Hotel, courteous staff, 4 Star Property(not sure), will meet your expectations in all ways. Value for every penny you spend. Though there are not many site seeing places in pondicherry, one can have a relaxing time in hotel itself.
Complimentary Breakfast spread is good. Though A la carte menu is bit overpriced. 24 hrs room service available, which is a plus point. Well stocked mini bar of course priced (not overpriced though)
Totally a very nice place to stay when u r ready to spend heartily.
Location is on the way to Cuddalore road, though it comes inside the city, site seeing places are around 3-4 km far from this place, unlike other hotels.

I stayed at sunway grt for the nights of 7 and 8 jan 12. The hotel is majestic and very good it is perfectly located where all the important places of pondichery are within easy reach it is very near to the beach and nehru market. Housekeeping is very good rooms are big and very nicely decorated. Front desk people are helpful it has beautiful lobby with capsule lifts. The buffett breakfast is very nice with lots of variety. In short a nice decent place where you get value for money. May be best hotel in pondichery. Great job guys keep it up

Excellent Hotel. reasonably priced. Good Food. Excellent Service right from the Door Man upto Check Out. Definitely an example for service standards. Basement buffet vessels were not in good condition - not a GRT standard. Needs attention.
