Having researched the apartments THOROUGHLY before booking and the hotel had all the options we required-All Inclusive, air conditioning, laundry service, pool/garden view and daily entertainment.
On arrival at Sa Caleta Playa reception we were told we were not at this accomodation but at Blanc Palace so our taxi took us to their reception where we were told they only had a reservation for 2 people even though our confirmation stated 4. The receptionist told us to go and have our meal as the restaurant would be closing soon while they rearranged our room. There was the standard AI buffet, and during our stay there was always a good variety of dishes. When we had finished our meal we were told we were in yet another complex Son Blanc a few minutes walk away. The 'overflow' room had no air con, no pool and a view of rubble and grass. Al the amenieties were at Blanc Palace, when we asked why we weren't in the Sa Caleta Playa the receptionist informed us it was now only for Italian guests and German and English were based at Blanc Palace and 'extra guests' in Son Blanc. We did use the facilities at Blanc Palace and after 5 sleepless nights(due to no air-con) were were moved to a room in that complex. There is no longer a laundry service, tricky with hand luggage only! we did have a view of a hedge...not quite the garden view I was expecting-but an improvement!
The hotel now deals directly with German travel company and ALL entertainment, announcements and information is in German and Dutch-they 'no longer cater for English guests'
