My wife and I spent two weeks at Chipeque Apartments. Where to start this review!! Firstly I must say that the staff here were lovely, especially Paul the bar manager who was helpful and friendly, and we were always treated courteously and well. The room we booked was similar to a prison cell, uncomfortable bed settee, dirty bed linen which we had to wash(stains came out after hand wash!!), shower which dealt out hot water for 30 seconds then had to reheat so you were left shivering in the cubicle for 10 minutes, no cleaning, towel or sheet change at all. The bar pumped out loud music from 10 a.m. all day, groups of ex-pats came in regularly and got very loud and some of the language was fruity and coarse to say the least. On the very odd occasion when the place was relatively quiet and little families were playing in the pool, it was OK but this was only occasional unfortunately. It is a very downmarket establishment, gardens uncared for, sunbeds and cushions filthy, generally seedy. I feel sorry for Paul as he deserves better than this. Tidy it up a bit, turn the music down, kick out the loud mouthed ex-pats and the place would be OK. Good luck in the future Paul.

Great apartment that gets the sun until it goes down from midday. Fine walk downtown and plenty places to eat but also good value at the apartments for meals. Everybody spoke and it felt friendly. Tenerife is really enjoyable this time of year.

We stayed in Jo's apartment a couple of years ago.... GREAT ! and really looking forward to returning in June of this year ... its booked 2weeks to go. I am really shocked looking at the write- up !!!! My partner and I had a brill holiday - the people on site were extremely friendly helpfull and curteous, we didnt have any troubles at all, the apartment was PERFECT or obviously we would not go back. It is lovely and clean and taxis are just outside if you want to use them, or have a lovely stroll. Plenty of supermarkets near by, and the main thing was the peace and quiet. I dont know Joanne - and Ive never met her, I just send the cheque and she sends back a confirmation letter, I have spoken to her on the phone and she was very helpfull. Your apartments Joanne are a credit to you and I have recommended them to all my family and friends. Its an ideal place for a really relaxed holiday.................... Lynn & Nigel

I've just returned from a weeks holiday with my boyfriend and we stayed in apartment No.52 in Chipeque. Having been to this apartment before and then having read the bad review on this before going i was a bit shocked and not sure what to expect this time round. I honestly have to say that there is not one fault in this apartment or complex. The apartment is actually facing west which means in the mornings the sun rises behind the apartment leaving a nice shaded area on the balcony were you can comfortably eat your breakfast, then in the evening the sun shines right on the balcony which is a very comfortable and private place to sunbath.
As before the apartment was very well equipped with all the necessities that anyone would require on holidays, it even has its on own washing machine and air conditioning which are extras in self-catering apartments.
On arrival we were greeted by nice friendly staff and they could provide us with all the information we required. The pool and surrounding areas are very well kept by the caretaker and lifeguard.
The apartment is very clean and clean towels are provided on arrival.
As i have been going to tenerife for a number of years and have stayed in numerous apartments, this apartment is the most modern, clean and has the most friendly atmosphere which is why i will be returning. The complex is situated in an excellent location and you could not ask for much more.
