“Awesome value and the nicest host you will ever meet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

Pelagos is great, our host Yiannis (I hope this is spelt correct) is the nicest guy you will meet in the world let alone Greece, he picked us up from our other hotel in Mykonos town and brought us to the beach (Platy Gialos). He was easy to talk too and he even dropped us to the port when we left for Santorini. The room size was more than adequent and although not right on the beach was a 2 min. Walk to the beach. There are many beaches within walking distance we loved psarou beach for swimming. Room has kitchenette so you can cook breakfast or other meals, or if you like or eat down at the beaches. This is not 5 star at all but for Amazing value and brilliant service we loved pelagic studios!

“Great place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2011

The couple of owners were really nice... They made our transfer from-to the airport for free...

The room is comfortable, equipped kitchen and has a nice terrace.

The hotel is near the beach Platys Gialos, wich is really nice.

The transport to Mykonos is ok by bus but to the night clubs in Paradise you have to get a taxi (which can be quiet difficult). A good option is to rent a car or a motor bike.

“Great hospitality, excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2010

We spent 10 days there with a group of friends with children.
The owners are really welcoming and helpful.
The only weakness is kitchen facilities and a condition of bathrooms facilities. Thera is not a good grocery store round there. And this garbage trucks at 6.00 AM...

To the best family beaches on the island is just 2 min walk. This is important because a lot of beaches on the island is dedicated to homosexuals. along the beach is a lot of restaurants, and clubs.

Public transport is also very close (5 min walk).

“Great Hotel! Great Location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2009

Pelagos Studios was a great choice in Mykonos and a great value. We were picked up from the airport and brought to the hotel. The rooms were older but extremely clean. They have kitchenettes in them and good AC. It took about a minute to walk down to the beach and we were able to walk along the coast to check out the other beaches. The bus stop to downtown Mykonos is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and it only takes about 10 minutes by bus to get downtown. We were even given a ride to the port early in the morning. Really great service and really great location. I would definitely recommend Pelagos.

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2009

We stayed here for 7 nights and could have stayed a month. The rooms were super clean. We've stayed at two other hotels in Platys Gialos so we know the area and it's offerings.
If you can afford it, take a room on the top floor... the views from there were excellent especially from our massive balcony. The breeze was also lovely at night. The patios come with sun umbrellas and you'll need them with sun on the patios most of the day.
Also Dimitra & Yiannis the owners were super, super friendly and helpful.
Our only very minor complaint was that the kitchen was not as well stocked as we had experienced on the other 2 islands we visited, which is only an issue if you want to cook in more than less.

In the area:
The beach was a really short walk. Yiannis recommended a restaurant we had not tried... Acrogiali Hotel on the beach... he was so right... we ate there 3 nights... it is hosted by the owner George Theoharis who has one of the most amazing staffs in all the restaurants we ate in during our 3 weeks in Greece. Eat what George recommends he never missed a beat.
Another place that was outstanding was Tasos Restaurant on Paraga Beach an enjoyable yet bit of a rugged 20 minute walk from Platys Gialos.
One last recommendation... when Yiannis recommends a car hire place.. listen to him we didn't, saved a few bucks and had a really bad experience. Yiannis is the kind of local that's only going to offer good advice.
