There were 4 of us girls aged in our 50's and 20's and we loved this loaction. The rooms are clean and large but not anything fancy. You do have to get the shuttle into town but that really is no problem as it comes regularly and only takes about 10 mins.Being right on the beachfront was fantastic and all of the retsaurants along the beach were great. We tried 4 of them. A couple of them had a "Zorba" night which was a lot of fun. The buffet breakfasts were also very good and the breakfast room/restaurant is facing onto the beach. We also did a little beach cruise from the jetty outside the hotel - it was excellent. Get the boat to stop at Kalifartis Beach for a lunch stop - absolutely beautiful surroundings, staff and amazing food.

Husband and I stayed here June of 2006 for 2 nights, had a great time. We were given a wrong room and after we told the front desk, they upgraded us to ocean view in suite pool. Awesome service, great beach and all the restaurants were on the beach, so romantic. Even their hotel views were breath taking, We really had a fantastic time.

The Petinos Beach Hotel (not to be confused with the Petinos Hotel) is situated right on Platsis Gialos Beach, the best beach and crystal-clear water we saw on the island. The hotel rooms are large and well fitted-out in traditional Greek style. A restaurant is attached to the hotel and overlooks the bay. We had most lunches there - it's reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was also great, and caters for all tastes. The hotel is well placed, in that it's right next to the restaurant and shopping strip, and a few metres to the bus stop to get the bus into Mykonos town. We spent a lot of time just sitting around the pool - a very relaxing place. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again, and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Even though I only spent a day here I liked the hotel. It's on the beach, it has a pool and there are many restaurants wiythin walking distance.
The busy season is during the summer and so it was quiet in October.
The room had a balcony that overlooked the beach.
Staff was freindly and helpful.
The only odd part was that the maid entered my room while I was sleeping, the door was dead bolted, and took a stool that was in front of the mirror. I woke up when the door opened and the maid just said shhhhhh. Not sure what that was about????
