Unfortunately the club area had been closed (off-season) and our booking (rock suite platinum) become obsolete. Luckily the HRH hotel took care of this in a professional way (Mr. Manual Reina more in particular) and gave us an upgrade to a rock suite diamond (+ studio suite platinum for the kids). Both rooms and hotel amenities were impeccable (as on the website pictures and descriptions).

The staff was well trained, friendly and professional, so HRH has made a big leap forward there (when I read earlier reviews). Of course it was also off-season, so the atmosphere was more relaxed. The hotel is also absolutely child friendly (teens club, beach activities etc.); our worries on this point were not justified.

Breakfast is great, in line with 5-star expectations; only the large room gave a bit a feeling of a refectory. Food at other places (Beach Club, Eden) was fine.

Wifi was working fine, but we had some minor troubles with in-room technology and entertainment e.g. the android boxes connected to our TVs (all 3) were crashing at times, remotes not working, X-box not starting up etc. We did not bother, since we did not really use it (we mostly just connect our own devices such as tablets directly to the TV with HDMI). My advice would be to either have working gadgets, or no gadgets at all.

All in all a perfect stay.

We stayed 'room only' at the Hard Rock Hotel for one week. It was very smart and clean with friendly staff. Would like to have milk in the room for teas and coffee, but this was not provided. Staff did not have any details about trips in the area which I would expect in a five star hotel. Lovely beach, clean soft and clear water. Overall good holiday.

As a music lover I wanted to try the new and first Hard Rock Hotel in Europe.
The location is not bad as Playa d'en Bossa is just in front of the hotel, but it's not necessarily the best area in Ibiza (however with a car it's only 10 minutes driving from the center of Ibiza town). But the beach (Playa d'En Bossa) is nice.

My room (Deluxe silver room) was not huge but comfortable with a large bathroom (with a power shower) and really great views from the small balcony.

Excellent music everywhere in the hotel, not necessarily rock, but more often softer music (ibiza chill-out).

As for the breakfast the choice was huge and everything was good.
I have tried their "Estado Puro" restaurant (they say it's a tapas restaurant but there is also a menu with normal dishes). The owner is a michelin star chef, eveything was really delicious (prices are not cheap but it was so good that I've been two times to Estado Puro restaurant during my stay).

Also there is a bar on the ninth floor called the Ninth with great views, but a little bit quiet at this time of the year.
Great pool but a little bit cold in October (the sea was warmer).

Overall it's a great Hard Rock Hotel, with great vibe and good music.

More than a hotel. This is a very cool place. Ten minutes from the Airport – no need to worry about the flight path, you can see them come in to land but you won’t hear anything unless you open the balcony door. The balcony is lush with its purple carpet, moulded seating and glowing night light. This outside space adds so much to the room. LG docking speaker was great, free Wi-Fi good and easy to use; excellent blackout curtains. Well designed room. The bathroom is pretty cool too, whirlpool bath hanging over the beach with vews of Eivissa port to the left and Formentera to the right; nice shower too. Clever floor level design, no step up or down to the wetroom floor.

Stayed here with my 11 year old boy, we had a great time, this was his best ever hotel. The breakfasts were superb, freshly squeezed orange juice of course, just add a dash of complimentary Cava and every morning becomes an occasion. My son loved the pancakes. The swimming pool was refreshing, in fact cold, my son said you get used to it. We went to Formentera where the sea was a lot warmer than the pool. Also none of the constant music which might become annoying - but this a Hard Rock Hotel so get over it, get earplugs or go to Hermit Hotel if silence is your thing. Anywhay, the rock star memorabilia is quite interesting, it all adds to the theme. There are some well chosen quotes here and there. The Eagles on the way out remind us that you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave. It is all carried off very well. But what really makes this place better than the rest are the lovely, friendly, multilingual people who work here. They are the stars of the show and they make this hotel shine. Gràcies per donar-nos la benvinguda aquí a l'hotel.

Room tip: Upgrade to Platinum. Only the best.

The decor and rooms are all well presented with BIG comfy beds, all important free WiFi. Lovely big walk in showers and the sound system connects to your gadgets with Bluetooth so very handy. The swimming pools are not huge but your right in the beach so no worries there. Food is good in all locations but the service in the main hotel restaurants and bars is far superior than that on the beach where you seemed to be an inconvenience!!!

Nice touches like the hotels own scooters if you fancy a bit of an island tour, the spa looked good but a little on the pricey end for treatments.

The hotel is close to the airport so you do get the planes but nothing too bad or too frequent, quick for transfers though!!

There is also a fab bar on the roof, 9th floor, so brilliant views & great at sunset with a cocktail.
