“Worst hotel ever don't go !!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 July 2011

On arrival at this hotel they only had one room booked for us, we payed for two, got 2 eventually. We could not have a safe not enough keys demanded one day 2. Showers didn't work my husband ended up fixing our, staff not interested in helping you. Everything about rooms very basic and either broken or outdated, or just unclean. People were asking to be moved and complaining all week. If you are all inclusive I pity you even more our bar closed at 5.30pm and the bar in sister hotel closed at 11pm. The food well where do I start no choice, breakfast few cold meats, toast, sausage, boiled egg and if you were lucky beans! Dinner you are ok if you like pasta and chips. The bottled water at dinner was 2.50 euro. I could go on but I think I've given you a good idea. We payed good money for a 3 star hotel and we got a 1 star, Faulty towers doesn't even start to describe this hotel don't do it.

Room Tip: shower in room 39 now works.

“Horrible food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2010

We booked an all inclusive for 10 days for 2 adults and 2 children, aged 4 and 2. We were told there was entertainment for children, but when we got there, we were told that it might be June or July. Our 4 year old loves mini discos and that's why we booked. We had to walk for 25 minutes for evening entertainment at another hotel. The childrens playground was dangerous, the tiles were missing and were easy to slip over. The food was awful and repetitive. One dish was pasta with tinned fruit! The only fresh for 3 days was oranges and apples and then for the rest of our stay, it was only oranges for all meals. The deserts were only tinned fruit, mousse, one type of horrible cake and yougart.
The positive side was, close to the beach and pools were okay. Most of the staff were friendly and helful.
There was no solarium, did not see the gym, but was told it was very little equipment and dangerous.

“never again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2007

we didn't realise that the playa grande is part of a complex with 4 properties with pools and restaurants 3 of which had bars we were a party of 6 adults and 6 children we read the reviews which were bad before we booked but we took a chance wished we hadn't the food was lousy the entertainment was entirley for italians it was noisy all night we didn't sleep for italian 18 to 30s screaming till 6 am The entertinment staff asked us to stop our children playing football and control them at 730pm and which i found very annoying as they couldn't contol noise in the early hours from the yobs Children are not very welcomed in this complex do not stay here if you have kiddies Half way through the holiday we had to change our restaurant the staff explained the complex was busy so we though this could be good maybe the food would be better it was exactly the same On the up side drinks were galore if only the cups were bigger but there was no limit on how many you could get at one time which was good the hotel staff were very pleasant the hotel was very clean maid service daily and they let us a courtesy room all day free of charge

“Worst experience”

Have just returned from the longest 2 days spent at the Playa Grande apartments. The nights were the worst with Italian lads shouting along the corridors and calling and banging on doors.
We moved apartment after one night as Italians were messing about in the pool at 3am with total lack of consideration for anyone attempting to sleep.
The second night was spent in the Alzorro apartments one block behind but this was no better, finally getting some peace at 6.15am. I have to say the accommodation was slightly better apart from a broken window.
There is no security at the apartments, anyone can walk from the street and into the blocks without any checks being made. I was told security cameras do not check the Alzorro block.
Following previous writers I totally agree with regard to food and drink. Breakfast in our case consisted of hard boiled eggs and mini frankfurters one morning and hardboiled eggs and bacon the second.

To sum up ... if you are a family or older couple don't waste your money on this all inclusive accommodation. It is sold as an 18-35's package and I wish I had read the reviews before booking.
The best part was coming home, relaxing it certainly wasn't.

“all inclusive BUT please don't rely on the food!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2006

You wont find many reviews on this place, not in English anyway. So i swore an oath to write one as soon as i returned.
Firstly the reason for the lack of reviews is that the hotel is very Spanish. While we were there it was 75% spanish, 10% italian, 10% german and the rest were a mixture, inc english.

The staff are very polite BUT speak very broken english.

The rooms are acceptable and quite large, each has a double room and a lounge where you have 2 additional beds. There is a telly and aircon BUT both cost an extra 10 euro's each, the air con is very good though.

Location is also very good, right on playa d'en bossa BUT not next door to be disturbed, as its tucked away. 5 mins to the beach, bery clse to Bora Bora. its also close enough to walk to the main road to get any bus around ibiza, not many other places in Bossa are.

The hotel is part of Hotel Noira next door, this is where you eat and it also has access to a very small BUT usefull gym with a load of free weights, although it would not pass any uk health and safety!

now on the all inclusive:

Food is awful, there is no better way to describe it. They provide breakfast lunch and dinner.

breakfast is bacon and some kind of egg, either the worst scrambled egg you will see or hard boiled, buffet style. There are 12 trays to use and they use just 2, such a poor selection. There are serials and fruit to get you by

Lunch, never bothered BUT very similar to dinner

Dinner, is some rancid looking meat, a plain pasta (sauce provided) salad an occiasionally a very strange spanish omellet (tastes dry and salty) and it doesnt really vary, sometimes a findus ham pancake. Its discusting, we ended up eating out most of the time

Drinks, these are great as it's all free if All inc and there are no exceptions and a great choise. The beer is Estrella and tastes great. You only get it in tiny cups BUT you can have as many as you want, its not to limit you, its so its easy for them to clear up. Wine's are on offer as well as vodka, sambooka, tequila etc... Most of our spanish friends seemed to be on all dayers

The pool is ok BUT with soo many drunk spanish rolling around it really wasnt peacefull, it was a mad house so we avoided it.

so overall i would give this a 5/10 for english people. The lack in marks is due to the lack of english, understanding english and the poor quality of the food.

If you want a cheap hotel in the best place in Bossa with free drink then this is the one for you!
