“FAB FAMILY HOLIDAY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012 via mobile

Once we arrived after a quick check in we went to our rooms which were an average size although we did spot 2 cockroaches on the first day, apart from that all good.
Music played all day around the pool creating a great atmosphere, staff were friendly, great beachfront location and plenty of other families so it was a good laugh. Quality entertainment and shops/bars only a short walk away!

“Great location, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Rooms were clean and location is right on the beach. Food is priced reasonably but option to cook for yourself in kitchenette if need be. We had a couple of cockroaches visit us, but the place was clean and this is to be expected in a hot location on the ground floor! Great for groups and couples. Staff were helpful.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms would have been nice, but these are above the pool, so not very private

“Off season delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

We stayed in May just before the season strted and it was a brilliant chilled break, the appartment was big, we had a sea view and a balcony. The local shop sold great fresh fruit, bread and veg and we made good use of the kitchen.

Would recommend it for a quiet off season break, chilled eating, drinking and walks along the beach.

Don't know what it would be like full season, busy and not so chilled I would guess.

Its only a short taxi ride from the airport and there is plenty to do in the area,. Theres a bus that takes you to Ibiza town however we use the taxi boat which was fun and quick. The bar next to the boat stop sell a great cocktails (very strong!!!)

Room Tip: Ast for a sea facing room

“Location Location Location!!1”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Returned to these Apartments for a 2nd time, booked with Thomas Cook, requested Sea View, or upper floor with sunny balcony, ended up on the ground floor shaded by trees! My advice is to book direct with the Hotel, you will pay half the price you pay with Thomas Cook, also the people who book direct got better rooms, ie Sea View!
Manuel "loudly and clearly" claimed they get the same fee be it from direct bookings or Thomas Cook and the rooms are just allocated on arrival!
When we first stayed here, all the guests where British, this has now changed, no problem for us, but it has lost it's family atmosphere!
The local Spar is twice the price of the Proxim Supermarket, past KFC to the crossroads set back on the left!!
If you do book with Thomas Cook they will charge you £15 per person for airport transfers, taxi to Sal Rossa 10 Euros and 13 Euros return!!
All in all a nice relaxing week, with good food, great bar, good company and a fab location!! Enjoy :)

“lovelly beach front appartments”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

lovely clean hotel if not a little dated, we arrived just after midnight to be welcomed by the older night shift gent and his cat, we checked in and were left to find our rooms as the staff seem to know little English this did prove a little difficult at times.
the hotel does have free wifi in the bar area but you need to ask for the code something that we didn't find out till the day we left after the kids had spent about 50 euro in the internet cafe. the room rate for the week was about 20 euro.

we were told by the reps that this would be the last week of the shops and resorts being open including the water park. this was not the case and this ended up with us having a group of very unhappy kids as that was the main reason for us stopping on this side of the island, the hotel was booked because we were told there was entertainment even in low season, this consisted of two pub singers one on monday one on weds when we left, a wild bird show twice ( no show just people asking if you will pay 10 euros to have a photo with a parrott or an owl. ) needless to say the kids were a little board.

the hotel itself is self enclosed with metal gates to keep the kids in, the gates were closed at half 8 and only opened from inside making if possible to let the kids go and play on the swings and slide extra down the side of the hotel, the pool table was a god send as was the option of letting them play the playstations for 2 euro for 40 mins.

the pool was cold, they constantly pump cold water in the only time it was warm was when the pool lights were turned on after the life guard went of duty, there was a life guard on duty between 10-6 each day and the bar staff keep an eye on the kids if they venture towards the sea, we saw them do it several times.

the food at the hotel is some of the most reasonable in the resort, ranging from 6-8 euro for a meal and a pint, breakfast as others have said range from 3-6 euro with a cuppa.
the meals were lovely and varied but the bar price like everything else on the resort was high
we got 10 ice creams at the supermarket ten mins down the road for the cost of one at the bar.

the staff during the day ( the blokes behind the bar) seamed more interested in talking to there mates and playing on the laptops to serve, but the lady in the bar and the cleaning staff and the older receptionist were all lovely, but by far the most welcoming is the hotel cat!

the rooms were cleaned twice the week we stayed and we had clean towels each time, only problem was the bins were not cleaned out and there was no where to put our full bins so we noticed ants moving in. the rooms could also do with a little brush so we can get rid of the sand ourselves, i have never seen so much sand, and because it is right on the beach it gets everywhere.
the outside areas were well looked after they hose and sweep all the paths each morning, and the pool is cleaned every morning.

all in all a nice week, the hotel is ideal for borra borra and space as well as the water park all about 5 mins away ( if they were open!) but this really is a ideal hotel for family's as i said the only way to get in to the complex is by one side gate and the beach so you don't have to worry to much about the kids getting out!
i can imagine that in high season it gets loud as the budda hotel is to one side and the jet apartments are to the other side.

room has two single beds and a double/ twin pull out bed, balconey with seats.
dining table, toaster cutlery pans/frying pan, two electric hobs, fridge with a frezer shower and bath, hairdryer in the bathroom and you can have air con for 5 euro. there are extra blankets as well.

make sure to be lovely to the cat if you visit especially if you have a ground floor apartment because he will let himself in and make himself at home.
i also recomend the climb up the hill in sant Joseph, the views from the top are amazing

Room Tip: rooms to the sea view are probably quietest in low season but as i said the hotel is surounded buy 4...
