“DON'T TONI terrible service, awful rooms.”

A friend of mine booked a week in Ibiza for three of us at Playa den Bossa. I must honestly say, This was the worst Hotel I've ever been in my life. TERRIBLE SERVICE, bad food, every day the same, and we had to wait half an hour to get back to the table because it was so crowded EVERY SINGLE DAY. We booked the all inclusive option. Drinks were disgusting. Also at the bar, we could only choose between 2 or 3 different alkoolic drinks the entire week. You could not order a wine because it tasted so bad. Really cheap wine. Really cheap food. Hotel looks good from the outside but it's terrible inside. And the thing is, you don't find many pictures of the rooms in the internet. SO BE CAREFUL. The rooms are old and nothing works (TV, telephone). Bathroom is dirty, full of rust, the shower water was COMPLETELY SALTY. Imagine to wake up in the morning and brush your teeth with salty water or wash your hair. We could not order for extra towels. It is one for each person and that's it. What kind of Hotel is this? The fan didn't work, air conditioning as well. Very poorly lighted, it was very difficult to put make up on because we couldn't see very well. When we came back from the beach in the afternoon, the room had been "cleaned up". Barely. Bed sheets were never changed, floor was still full of sand from the last day. Well, I'm going to finish my review and I think you now have a glimpse of how poor this hotel is.
I read some other reviews about Don Toni and I must say that these people have never experienced a pleasant Hotel. Many people said it is a greatplace, but in my opinion, they probably have nothing to compare it with.

Room Tip: If you are unfortunate to book a room at this Hotel, at least get one with sea view.

“had a great holiday both times”

Have been here 2 times with our teenage sons and had a fantastic time.
I found the food good with lots of choice and the waiters were friendly and attentive
The rooms were pretty basic but had everything you need and were clean.
Great location, lots of choice of drinks and the entertainment staff were fantastic whatever age you are.
My son has been back twice more.

stayed at this hotel in august 11,with my family.i asked and paid extra to stay in the club <lower rise style>,which was featured around the pool.had lovely views or the sea and pool area.room was clean and comfortable.
food was lovely and plenty of choice.
drinks on the all inclusive was really good,,could get a bottle of wine /cava.or any drink that i could see.even had baileys, ammaretto etc all known brands, fab.sometimes had a long queue to get drinks at the pool bar but it was august,,but if went to the pool bar at the hotel side was served easier,,so was worth a 2min walk round the corner.
waterpark was good ,and a 5 minute walk from hotel.
staff very friendly and welcoming.
thought the price to hire the safe was a bit over the top,,think it was about £20-15 pound a week which is a rip off.
would go back and stay in this hotel..lovely time.

“pitty about the wait for drinks”

first of all when booking there is no way of telling if you are getting the hotel or club i went back to the travel agents and asked them to find out for me and asked for the club thomson amended the booking the week before we went i was so glad i did. the hotel is a high rise block but they use the same pool as the club, quite a treck if you have children while we were there we got talking to a few around the pool most were saying that it was noisy in the hotel with lots of young banging on doors and running in the coridors one couple was told this was because in other countries the hotel was used as a young and lively hotel we had none of this we were in block 2000 in the club we were on the first floor over looking the pool we had two rooms next to each other both very clean no problems with ants we did wake one morning to the sound of crashing as the doors to the rooms back onto the recycle bins as they empted the bottles but we all had good nights sleep. we went with two adult kids so the walk into town was great but i could see as a mum that i dont think i would have liked taking young children there after your evening meal lots of young adults in groups some a little worse for drink ...never saw any trouble and all having fun (we were all young once) but could have been a little scarry for the younger members of the family.drinks out of the hotel are very expencive 4or5 euros for beer although it was nice to get a drink and not have to wait as we did every day at the hotel we timed it one day 19 mins to get 2 cokes only two staff at the bar pool bar and the hotel not very busy when there were complants to the hotel they just shrug there sholders and when the reps were told they said it was down to the hotel and nothing they could do ...very bad service ..may be this was to stop you having to many drinks (cost cutting may be ) apart from that the food was great always hot plenty of choice entertainment as expected in these kind of hotels ....all in all we had a good week but the problems with the drinks did get under my skin hate to think what its like in school holiday weeks

Room Tip: ask for the club overlooking the pool

“Over exceded my expectations.”

I went with a friend just before the party season we managed to catch a couple of bars but we really went to relax.

Room
The rooms were lovely, they felt like a little apartment we didn't even wanna leave it at times.

Entertainment
The entertainment was your typical hotel entertainment. The shows were really good though and you were drawn in to the silliness after a couple of all inclusive drinks.

Staff
The staff were very friendly. Our reps were really nice and made an effort to talk to you and let you know about trips and stuff.

Food & Drink
There was a fantastic range of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks in between. The buffet had all sorts to choose from whether you were feeling adventurous or sticking to the norm. I ate so much.

Price
I paid £360 inc flights, transfers and free entry to the waterpark (across the road) at any time. I thought I got a great deal for my money.

Location
The location was very nice with its own choice of bars and restaurants. Although for hardcore partygoers its no close to San Antonio bay at all and that's were all the raving goes down.

Overall a lovely relaxing holiday. Great if you are a family with children aswell due to the kids clubs and kids disco every night.
