3 Affluent young Irish Gentlemen, 1 Apartment, 1 Swimming Pool, 3 Comfy Beds, 1 Great Balcony = Great Craic. Tivoli well and truly exceeded our expectations, as Ibiza virgins we weren't sure what to expect from Bossa or the Apartments. Apartment was nice and spacious, fridge and mini freezer and kitchenette, balcony with a stunning sea view and pool view. Not really a party place so would easily recommend for couples and families but great for groups as well as it's so close to bora bora (great beach side music during the day). Antonia on front desk was a pleasure to deal with every day and always had a smile on her face. Looking forward to coming back to the bossa next year... :)

We just spent 5 nights in Tivoli as a group of about 20. All of us are seasoned Ibiza visitors between the ages of 28 - 35. We usually go for the openning or closing parties and for the last 5-6 years have hired Villa's (we got past wanting to stay in Jet a few years ago and prefer something a bit quieter to retreat to) but as this was only a short mid season visit, we decided to chance a cheap apartment and booked Tivoli.

A week before we were due to go I saw a review on here which said Tivoli had shut down. After a brief panic about being relocated to somewhere like San An (heaven forbid) on arrival, I called the hotel to check out the situation and they were very helpful, they advised me they'd been shut briefly for a renovation. The girl i spoke to sent me an email confirming the reservation was fine, and agreeing we could check in early for no extra charge.

We all arrived in dribs and draps from various flights and were all allocated identical apartments which very comfortably sleep 3 people. They were clean, comfortable and pretty spacious. There is a very basic kitchenette with a fridge and a couple of cooking rings. I tend to only eat out on holiday anyway so not really a necessity for us but if you wanted to eat in it's certainly manageble.

There was an Iron and a hairdryer which i thought was rather unexpected for a cheapo apartment - handy when getting ready too.

The bathroom was big, we had clean towels and comp products every day and the beds changed daily.

Nice pool area, the music was sometimes a bit crap but you cant meet everyones tastes. Cheap beers round the pool and plenty of loungers.

Location wise it was bang on too. 10 mins stroll down to Bora bora along the road past Coco's and Jet or a 10 min stroll along the beach.

All in all it exceeded our expectactions and was perfect for what we wanted. The general consensus from our whole party was if we arent doing a villa then Tivoli will do nicely!

I do appreciate that when I booked this I knew we were not off to stay at the ritz for the money it cost,but the general attitude of the staff and overall room condition left a lot to be desired the television had one English channel which was CNBC stock market review,I realise you don't go on holiday to watch T.V but it would of been nice to have a litte bit more of an option the balcony we had was covered in ciggerette butts on arrival,ive stayed in ibiza many a time an you can get alot more than this hotel for the money if you shop about,would not recomend

Stayed here with a friend & it is right down the bottom of the list of places I have ever stayed. We booked a double room & we knew not to expect too much as it was a budget choice. However even with our managed expectations we had to walk straight out of the room & beg reception to upgrade us. The room was a double bedroom, not apartment. It had no balcony, a tiny window with old shabby curtains and only a fridge as counter/shelf space, so nowhere to put anything or prepare drinks/food. There was hardly any natural light & the view looked out over wasteland with no view of a sea or the pool.
We were moved for a supplement the next morning to the studio apartment which was better in that it had a balcony & a mini kichenette, however it was still just one room, not an apartment. The AC did not work in this room & when we told reception they guaranteed it would be fixed that afternoon. It wasn't, nor was it fixed the next morning or next afternoon, despite repeated reminders.
The included breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was no fresh fruit salad/yoghurt. There was no black tea, just herbal varieties. There were only 2 hot dishes on any given days, so bacon & scramled eggs, or sausages & beans. Selection of breads/cakes was also minimal.
The lift can only fit 4 people which is not enough for 8 floors & which is also shared by the cleaning staff. The cleaning staff regularly had it held up with their trollies so if you were on a higher floor you either had to wait indefinitely or climb the stairs.
We are used to staying at budget establishments but at 100 eur a night B&B we felt this was taking the preverbial.
Do not stay here if you can help it.
