Booked this hotel as just wanted a relaxing week in IBIZA with the option of going to the season closing partys.
On check in we qued for 30 minutes only for 2 sets of spanish guests behind to be checked in first, with no explanation as to why.
The rooms are very basic but have everything you need, Television only has 2 english channels 1 sport and 1 news so not very thrilling. If you like a hard bed you get it! 1 of ours actually had springs out of it!
Food was not good, we were all inclusive and for the 1st 3 days i was ill. After that i ate out of the hotel and was fine for the rest of the holiday. The food is poorly labelled and i asked on afew occasions as to whether there was meat or fish in any of the pasta sauces and was told no, then on eating there was! Breakfast was continental with the strangest white boiled sausages i have ever seen, hence not trying them.
The pool was nice and kept clean most of the time. The sunloungers were very uncomfortable and the white loungers were all broken and had no stands so you could sit upright,.
The bar staff need to learn how to smile, only 1 drink per person unless you are having water. even on soft drinks so me and my friend were having to go to the bar seperatley all week which was extremely annoying!
There is no currency exhange available at all, although we did find out that the night security/reception staff would change currency like for like with no receipts. I think that they were doing this out of there own money. They also sell water and beer from underneath the reception desk, so when i pointed this out to the reception staff the next day he was extremely shocked. The night staff one moroccan man inparticular was extremely rude and made no effort to hide the fact that he hated english people, i was actually told by him on our last evening " thank god that we were leaving". I had had no run ins or conversations with him all week so i was shocked and angry about this. On our last morning i filled out a 4 page complaint form which was handed back to them and supposidly for the attention of the manager. I have had no response so far but i will be chasing this up. There was no effort or apology for the way the staff member spoke to me. This hotel would be good if it was ra properly and there was an actual in house manager that you could speak to. I wouldnt be suprised to see this place on holiday watchdog! Englisg guests avoid at all costs!
