I chose the hotel because I wanted self catering and overall given it's 3 star rating it was pretty decent. There was a problem when I arrived because the flight was hideously delayed and I got there after midnight so the reception was shut and no-one around. I couldn't find anyone at all and was so tired I gave up and went across the road to the H10 Tindaya for the night (they were great by the way, and gave me a good price for the night).
Apart from this the place was OK, the kitchen had a small cooker, but a full sized fridge, essential for beer, wine and water. The TV was meant to be paid by hiring the remote control, but as there weren't too many English Channels the guy let me have it free. The sleeping area was set back in the room so it was nice and quiet and not too bright when the morning sun came up to allow the odd sleep in. The cleaners were good (5 times per week not every day). There were a few restaurants nearby and even more if you walked an extra 10 minutes in to Costa Calma centre, but it's a quiet area. there is a small SPAR shop right next door to buy food/sun cream etc.
The only complaint is that the rooms really need refurbishing, everything worked but a new coat of paint and some new cushions on the sofa would be welcome.
Overall for me - OK for 3 stars, but maybe heading down towards 2 stars rather than aspiring to go to 4. Actually that's a litttle harsh, I think it's happy as it is and as I got a good price I was happy.
