This was the most disappointing Hotel stay in our life. In XXI century, the Hotel doesn't even meet the standards of two stars, not to say about four (!?) It presents a really bad technical condition, we felt like everything was to fall apart and nobody seemed to care. "What you see is what you get" kind of arrogant attitude. It may be Ok for older people from Germany, who have memories of this place from years ago and return yearly because of some sentiment - at least we were told so by some of them. The saddest thing of all was the personnel who really hates working there, or so it seemed, and somehow this gets projected on the visitors. Only the animators seemed actually happy with their jobs. We were told there's something serious going on with the management issues, and we tried to be understanding. We didn't present a complain in writing. However, nobody seems to realise it's all at the visitors' cost, as we had spend our money and should get the value of holiday regardless of the hotel's difficulties or interior conflicts. They all simply seem not be bothered, and the service quality is very low. You can hear shouting and yelling on a daily basis, as a "communication" method of the staff. I know the hotel presented a cheaper variant of holiday, so we shouldn't expect wonders, but even the concept of cheap should have some limits of decency. Overall, our impression is that the directors simply don't realise that nowadays it is possible to stay in MUCH better modern hotels in Fuerteventura at the same or similar price. Whatever the reason, my advice to you all: avoid! avoid! avoid! Unless you want to end up in a hotel where all facilities remind you of remote past, with spiderwebs in the corners, arrogant personnel, disgusting smell of rotten wood in the dining area, and everything somehow very different from what you saw in the catalogue. And where you as a guest are the least important of all.
