I have to say this was the best hotel in this location as many exits to the complex and all lead to different areas such as beach; restaraunt; pubs; shops. The appartment was simple but good all round for the amount you are in room! Balcony looked over onto pool/bar area which wasn't to noisey. I would say this was value for money and a good all round place!

the hotel has the best location in costa teguise with the best views probably on the island but the hotel seriously needs alot of work doing on it.
this was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in for cleanliness and COCKROACHES but we made he best of it by getting out as much as we can the outside looks grand but inside was not great the whole week all we smelt was sewiage and the water from our taps was brown. i have been before to costa teguise and would definatly return but not to this hotel, if you are going to costa teguise try the galeon playa or the h10 lanzarote gardens which both have great location and far better rooms.
after doing some research i found that this hotel was on holidays from hell a couple of years ago and by the looks of it it hasn't got any better.
this hotel needs a big company like first choice or thomson to take it over and sort it out.

I have read some bad reviews of this hotel but we thought it was excellent when we went. The apartment was big for just two of us and very clean. We had a balcony with beautiful sea views - really good to watch the sun rise.

We went self catering so I can't speak for the food but there are plenty of good places to eat in the resort. The Hotel is really close to the centre of the resort so it was easy to walk to restaurants and the beach.

The pool area was good as well, always kept clean and tidy.

Also there was a courtesy room which we used on our last day as we had to check out early - that was useful as we could still have a last day on the beach but still get a shower.

Overall I would recommend the Puerto Tahiche!

We booked the holiday through a travel agent, neither of us had been to Lanzarote before and we were looking for a relaxing break in the sun.

After reading the reviews on the hotel i was really anxious and worried about where we were staying but we had absolutely nothing to complain about. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and the sea view balcony was amazing especially the sunrise and sunset. There were no cockroaches in our room at all.

The pool although cold was perfect for sunbathing by and we had no problem getting a sunbed any time of the time. We spent the majority of the time on a small man made beach just down the road from the hotel which was beautiful and the water was unbelievably clear.

The volcano tour and wine tasting excursion was fun and the market on the Sunday was excellent - best place for picking up gifts to bring home.

We found lots of lovely restaurants but would definately recommend El Patio - the lemon sole was out of this world.

We were looking for a relaxing break for a young couple and that's exactly what we got. And for the price i don't see how anyone can complain.
