The good = Cleanliness of common areas & service to rooms re housekeeping. The pool area is great with the pool being cleaned & chemicals checked daily with all of this area being cleaned etc all of the time this is clearly the best asset of siroco 1 with siroco 2 having it's own pool of equally high standard & clearly the best rooms on the site ( more on this in the bad ) The selection of salad & fruit within the restaurant is great & plenty for all. The location is ok ? 20 / 30 mins walk brings you to a lively area otherwise on site it is dead.
The bad = we were not welcomed by the manager in any way on arrival indeed we seemed to be a nuisance factor for him ( might have been an off day ) we went to our room 210, remember this number & ask for an alternative if possible unless like us the balcony overlooking the pool outways the damage to walls throughout the room & the ceiling in the bathroom looking ready to fall on our heads. The decor is terrible in this room & others we spoke to said the same of theirs, the doors & wardrobe had been damaged at some time & it looked like a 3 year old had been given some filler & different coloured paint to repair them.
Hot food in the restaurant was actually cold & limited in imagination being the same menu repeated every other day with left over food appearing in other dishes the following day. breakfast was great & you could have a coffee / tea unlike lunch or dinner when this was not allowed as a sheet covered the machine ? the restaurant itself looks ok on the surface until you notice sauce stains on chairs & decor posts with table cloths looking as though they have not been changed ever. Also somehow the staff managed to train guests to clear away their own plates scooping food into a bin, something we did not choose to partake in.
The ugly = By a long way the pool bar what a joke this is ! We called it the shed because that is all it is, old broken furniture, uncomfortable, dark, run down basically the pits ! anyone wishing to make full use of all inclusive via the drinks menu forget it. First you will need to book an appointment to get served as you have to wait for someone to come from the restaurant or reception & worst of all no glasses can be removed from the shed so you need to ask for a plastic smaller glass if you want to sit by the pool area & if you want to go to the entertainment room you will need to endure the repeated walk back & forth as no bar exists in this room ? You will have to go some to enjoy a few drinks at this so called club, this is done deliberately in my view so that they can coin it in by literally pushing you away.
I feel sorry for the few staff here as they do their best & work all the hours. Entertainment examples during our stay to give you a feel were, snake show, parrot show, drag show, bingo ? you get what you pay for but this place really takes the mickey compared to others I have been to at a similar price. Do yourself a favour & look elsewhere & to Siroco management, close down do some repairs & renovation, sack the cook & get a chef, burn down the shed ( bar ) & replace it with something fit for purpose. To the staff, leave you are not valued enough unless you get a share of savings made due to my comments.
Room Tip: go for a siroco 2 room but use main pool

Thank you Bernard for you review. For us it is an important tool to improve our services. We are sorry to read that your experience could have been more satisfactory, and we apologize for that. We have taken into consideration all your comments to come out with improvements.
Furthermore, I am with you that the decoration it is very much improvable. Nevertheless, I feel that, probaly due to a lack of knowledge of Club Siroco when selling you the holiday, some guest come with expectations higher than reality. Club Siroco it is a 2 start apartment complex providing good quality of Accomodation, Restaurant, Bar and Animation services at a reasonable price. We are sorry if this has been your case. We have a facebook fan page to provide all the information you might need for the future. We all hope to see you back again, so you can see the improvements.
