Just returned from a brilliant 10 days at the H10 Lanzarote Gardens. We can't praise all the staff & aminacion team enough, they really go out of their way to ensure a good time. There is no pressure to be involved with the activities, but if you do it is really good fun (apart from the embarassment of going n stage to receive a diploma!). It was our 4th time at this hotel, although we have not been back for about 8 years & we were pleased to find that it was still worthwhile. We went with our son & his family, children 4 years & 8 months, & even though we could not entice ourgrandson to join the childrens activities, he was still entertained throughout, while his little sister had a wonderful time watching the evening entertainement.

Having read other reviews we can agree with comments concerning the restaurant & food not being hot, but this was only in the evenings, the breakfast & lunches were excellent, so we tended to eat a "Main meal" at lunchtime & not so much in the evening.

Resort is just as good as we remembered, although the current financial situation is taking its toll, but there are super alternatives if you do want to eat out ( Chinese all you can eat 4.95 Euro pp!)

We will certainly return for another escape from the british winter next year.

Just back from a weeks holiday in Lanzarote, staying in the H10 Lanzarote Gardens. This is a lovely family friendly complex, which seems to have been designed to ensure children are well catered for.
My apartment (355) was spotless and with modern furniture. the balcony faced away from the pool and caught the sun for most of the day.
The staff in this hotel are all very friendly and helpful.
The animation team work hard to put on shows, and to be honest we only sat through the music quiz, which was a good laugh (we won).
My only criticism centres around the restaurant and the food, The restaurant provides a buffet service and reminded me of a typical holiday camp restaurant from many years ago!! The food was at best poor and at worst appalling!! It was either cold or overcooked. Breakfast in particular was the worst - greasy trays of bacon, scrambled egg that could be used to plaster walls!! There are "themed evenings" - we had a chinese evening, with spring rolls, pork balls and sweet and sour sauce!!
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, especially if you have younger kids, but it is probably worth going bed and breakfast and eat out every night!! There are plenty of bars, restaurants, etc within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel.

Just back from the Lanzarote Gardens. We spent there two weeks with our 2 children: 10 & 12 years old girls. We liked it very much. The location is very good - close to the beach, supermarket
and car rental. We had a car rented for almost a week (we recommend Cabrera Medina just up the street) and spent a lot of time visiting every corner of Lanzarote. The island is beautiful, it has so much to offer. We were on a half board basis and found it very convenient as we spent a lot of time outside the hotel. The food was good, the staff was very friendly. The bungalow was spacious, with a nice balcony with garden view. But it was chilly at night in the lower room (there is no AC there) . It was not a problem to get additional blankets but if you stay in a bungalow traveling in January-February take warm pyjamas with you. It is a good place to go with your family.

Just back from a two week stay at this super hotel where the children are treated like VIPs!

Can't praise the hotel enough, you get five star treatment for three star price! All of the staff
are extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived in our apartment we didnt have any hot water. We spoke to gentleman at Reception and he sent someone straight away. It was only matter of a "tripped switch" so easily rectified! An hour or so later there was a knock on the door and we were presented with a lovely cellophane wrapped platter of fruit. We were delighted!
We were on a half board basis and found the food very good, plenty of choice, especially at breakfast time.
We are both in our late sixties but love this hotel in January as there are plenty of familes with under school age children all having a fabulous time. The children are so well catered for. The entertaintments team do a truly wonderful job!

If you have children they will love here! Can't wait to go back next January!
