we stayed sept 2006.
room clean and reasonable. bottle of wine provided but no opener and no one intrested in opening the bottle either.
reception staff opten rude and abrupt.
if you like butlins this is the holiday for you.
very down market, loud with 70's disco music and loud children's entertainment consatntly.
beach is not attached to the hotel and a not very nice walk from hotel or beach either.
don't bank on the free loungers as advertised either.
distinct lack of taverna's on the beach unlesss you walk to town.
ugly to watch the constant drinking and eating of the all inclusive package types.
food clean but lots of flies. nice but by the 5th day boring.
cannot recommend this holiday if you want a decent break without children, boozers and the hi de hi atmosphere.
the saddest holiday for me after 5years travelling the greek islands.

if you want to be treated well and with respect and descency then i suggest you do not stay at the 'louis helios'. The leader of the hotel entertainment staff was rude to me and my family. he made nasty remarks about me to others at every opportunity....mainly regarding the scar that is on my face.this type of behavior is disgraceful....plus he would play a particular song every time i would try to join in with the entertainment.'who let the dogs out'...yes you may laugh but it is embarrasing when you are trying to enjoy yourself with family. i spent most of the holiday in the hotel room.
so all i suggest is that unless you have the most perfect of faces then do not stay at this place.
