Having been to this resort 3 years ago i knew the exat location of Emiliana. We were a bit disapointed to find ourselves in 1 of the side rooms as we were hoping for a beach facing room. However the side rooms still afforded us a decent view of the sea if you looked to the right and we could still hear the sound of the waves at night which was very relaxing.
All amenities are on the doorstep so you don't have to lug bottles of water too far in the heat which gets pretty intense at times! Good choice of restraunts and snack bars close by and use of pool in hotel just over the road.
The apartments themselves are quite basic but what you'd expect for self catering, having a microwave, kettle, toaster and cooking rings as well as a fridge. The maid comes every day and is amazing, she tidies all your bits and bobs and folds your clothes up, she is also very honest as my husband left all our money out in plain view (about 1000e) and it was all still there when we returned from a day on the beach. although he did get an ear bashing from me!!
Air con is worth getting in high season, although the side apartments don't get as hot as the front facing ones and there is a nice breeze when you sit on the balcony.
The old man in charge of the sunbeds directly outside Emiliana is a character. We were away with my husbands' grandparents and he took a shine to Nan, fussing around her and making sure her sunbed was moved around into the shade as the sun moved, he also gave her a bracelet, not mant people can still trap off on hols at the age of 80!!! After nearly two weeks of thinking he was called Leo we finally discovered his name is actually Jericho. He sits on a chair outside the apartments all day, occasionally walking up and down the beach followed by one of the many cats he feeds (a tabby called Tina).
All in all a good, relaxing holiday for those happy to go self catering.

Right on the beach is amazing - hearing the waves is pure relaxation when in the room.
It's close to the main strip but far enough away not to get all the noise from it.
The cleaner is amazing - spotless everyday - it's like we haven't even been in there! I'd take her home if I could!
Perfect for couples who want both peace and quiet and use of the facilities.

Stayed here this year in May with my partner and we thought the apartment although fairly basic was quite adequate for our needs.
Plenty of room although we had a 1bedroom apt which would have slept 4 which overlooked the sea - infact the sea came up almost under our balcony. It was very peaceful for what time we spent in the apartment and as we love Kardamena we would not have any quarms about using these apartments again.
Don't lets forget to have 5 star luxury you have to pay 5 star prices.
Thought it was a nice location and great for all ameneties. We hope fellow travellers enjoy it a much as we did.

We booked last minute and paid last minute prices. Flight times a nightmare but the apartment was wonderful. Try to ensure you get a sea view which will make all the difference, falling asleep to the sound of the sea was awesome.
Far enough away from the boom boom area but close enough for a stroll into the lively part in the evening - plenty of restaurants/bars, you can take your choice - OTT in one street, lively in the next or quiet enough for chatting in the next. Don't think I'd want to be there in July/August though!
