we love the hotel agrelli,so much so that we and 2 of our friends have been going for the last 10 years! Marcus,his wife Fortini,& sons David & George make everyone really welcome. The hotel is spotless,the food is lovely, & the bar is open 24 hours a day! You have use of the pool at the apartments just up the street.

When we arrived at this "hotel" we just wanted to turn around and go - it was that bad!
The room had 3 single pine beds in and a minibar - that was it. No drawers, nothing to put your clothes in so we had to live out of suitcases.
We were advised that the towels were changed once per week! The towels were as thin as paper, hard with holes in - disgusting!
The continental breakfast consisted of a hard roll, watered down orange juice and coffee - no meat or cheeses that are usually supplied with a continental breakfast. We spent the least amount of time that we could in this place it was that bad. The man on reception was as miserable as sin - never smiled, it was like you were interupting whatever he was doing - usually nothing!
Everyone was complaining about this accommodation, apparently the locals say it doesn't even have stars to clasify it as it is that bad.
The shower room was terrible, dirty grouting and shower curtain, manky taps - the whole thing was just dreadful.
PLEASE do not waste your money!

If the manageress of the Agrelli reads this then hello Debbie! We stayed last year in Oct after escapng from another not so nice hotel. We stayed in the pool apartments and found the room spotless comfortable in a travellodge style, and the whole experience a world away from the other hotel. This truly is a "returning Customers" hotel. Half the people there were old Agrellians and should i ever return to Kos I will seek to stay here too. Very good value. Simon, Debs and Emily
