“Home from home!”

The service provided by a mainly family run hotel was outstanding. The rooms are large and with great views. Situated in the heart of Kalamaki you are just a very short walk to the shops, resteraunts and the sea.The relaxing feel of the hotel and that of the family who runs it has to be be its greatest strength but the swimming pool and views froms the hotel bedrooms are equally as good. Finally, I cant do this review without mentioning how brilliant the large well stocked bar is and that of Tom and Jimmy who run it are. Well done guys you make so many peoples hoildays so enjoyable.

Room Tip: Go for a room on the top floor in the middle around 313 for a great view of the pool and sea

“Highly recommended”

The Cronulla is a fab, family-run hotel that I would highly recommend to anyone.

We stayed in Aug 2011 for the second time (my brother got married there in 2009) and we were not disapointed with our return visit.

The rooms, although quite basic, are clean and spacious. We loved our view of the pool and out to sea and we enjoyed many a Mythos sitting and relaxing on the balcony!

The breakfasts are delicious, and we had lunch there most days too.

The pool is huge and immaculately kept, and there are always sunbeds available.

The hotel is in a central location (but noise was not a problem for us) and only a ten minute stroll to the beach.

Dia and family thank you so much and hope to see you soon!

“Lovely Basic Cheap Place for Couples!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2011

I stayed at the Cronulla for 1 week with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed it.

The rooms are basic but nice and very clean, also spacious. They have 2 single beds, wardrobe with draws and a safe, dressing table with a large mirror. Kitchen with fridge, 2 cooker rings, kettle, pots, pans and a sink, bathroom with shower (no bath) sink, mirror and toilet. Nice decent size balcony with table & chairs with a great pool view.

The pool is massive, really nice and clean, surrounded by a nice pretty garden and palm trees. There's also a seperate kids pools and jacuzzi (jacuzzi wasn't great as not powerful enough but nice to chill out in with a drink) Plenty of sunbeds and umbrella's so never had a problem having one. You can also hire a sunbed cushion for the day for 2 euros, which made it alot more comfy.

Pool bar and restaurant are really good, plenty of choice for food and drink and plenty of seating. Full english breakfast was gorgeous, we had it every day haha..well it was bed and breakfast after all.

There's a pool table, 2 computers with internet, 3 big screens and toilets which was great.

Location is great, there's a supermarket across the road which has everything you need. Beach is a 10 min walk away. Resturants, bars and shops are all on the same road as the hotel.

I would HIGHLY recommend to eat at the Heaven's Kitchen Restaurant which is about a 5 min walk from the hotel. The food is absolutley gorgeous with plenty of choice like steaks, pizza, chicken, pasta etc...The staff are really nice and friendly and very welcoming, we ate there 4 days out of 7 and that's only because we 1st ate there on our 4th day, otherwise we would of eaten there every night is was that nice.

The hotel is a family run hotel and they are all really nice and friendly, very well managed and looked after.

The only downfall for me was the hotel location being on a main road, it can get very noisy throughout the day, so was abit annoying listening to traffic all day when trying to chill out and relax, so i just listened to my ipod most of the time haha.

Very cheap for bed and breakfast and great for a cheap basic getaway.

Hotel suits couples of all ages, wouldn't recommend for kids as no children's evening entertainment or onsite play area, they only have a kids pool.

Overall we had a great holiday and would defo go back in the future : )
