The room they showed us was shabby and small with one small bed. I had requested a room with 2 beds and when I went to the front desk regarding this they said I would have to pay more rather than the confirmed (?) price. It appeared that we were the only guests there and now I know why. As it turns out, we left thinking that because it was prior to 4PM local time we could cancel our reservation. We ended up paying for the one night only because we felt that the owner must have fallen on hard times and we decided we would accept some blame for the obvious lack of communication. We found a lovely hotel a few miles up the road in Snaptun, the Snaptun Faergegaard, and got a room there. Lovely large room with 2 beds and a wonderful view. Turns out it had a great restaurant as well!
