This hotel has the bedrooms in a building on one side of the road and all the other facilities on the other side. It sounds weird, but it isn't inconvenient in reality - unless you have limited mobility or aren't safe crossing a road, in which case, this place is not for you.
Accommodation is modern, spacious and pleasant enough, though not special. Our room was clean. Ground-floor rooms have a french window (glass door) to the outside and decking where one can sit at leisure. This bedroom block is just far enough back from the road to make traffic noise not much of a problem. I'd be wary of staying in hot weather, though, as like many Netherlands hotels there is no air conditioning. A small pane above the french window could be left open, but to cool the room we needed the french window itself open, which on the ground floor obviously won't do when you are out. For those travelling by car, there is ample parking: this should never be a problem.
Breakfast, across the road, is in a large and fairly stylish room, and is standard modern buffet Euro-fare, Dutch version: plentiful and good quality. We also had dinner one night, outside on a terrace, which was quite edible but one of the least memorable meals I've ever had. For dinner you'd do better to find a restaurant to your liking in Nijmegen or elsewhere.
The hotel is fairly well situated for those with a car who want to visit Nijmegen and district. In the other direction, across the German border, it is also in easy reach by car of Niederrhein (Weeze) airport, one of those Ryanair operations in the middle of nowhere.
But the main attraction has to be price. We paid a total of EUR139 for two people, two nights, breakfast included, in late July. (Dinner extra). Bargain.
