“Great place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2010

We recently stayed here for a week and had a really lovely time. Our unit had ocean views and was spotless. The place is very central to everything. Only a few minutes to Burleigh Heads where I think the beach is nicer but it is also close to other lovely walking spots as well. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the area and generally we felt it was great value for money.

“Look Elsewhere”

Totally concur with review written by previous traveler , stayed here in December 2009. Read reviews before we left and still booked with them. Big mistake, accommodation is very clean however slightly tired , pictures of location are deceptive ,as beach is actually one street away however not a long walk and beach is beautiful, however Manager is an overbearing middle aged man who probably needs to move on, presides over the swimming pool and micromanages everyone's comings and goings as if he may be working for Asio . Allows extra guests but wants cash payments upfront? outside of booking invoice? Not someone l would choose to converse with ordinarily we placated him during our stay, because we had paid in advance and could not get a refund. Staying here would be compromising happy holidays with your children so think twice even if the price seems right.

“Perfect relaxing holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 February 2009

Stayed here for a week in Feb 09 with husband and 13 year old son on the top floor in the 2 bedroom penthouse. The rooms were spotless and very spacious. There were two bathrooms, a huge kitchen with plenty of utensils for cooking, oven, mircowave, dishwasher and full sized fridge. Although I only used the kettle and toaster as I do all the cooking at home, I don't cook when away. There was also a separate cupboard that hid the washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and an air rack.

If you like soft pillows then your going to have a great sleep but if like me you prefer a firm pillow than I suggest to pack your own as the pillows are very soft. I am a light sleeper and although the building is located on the main highway I did not hear the traffic all night until about 5.30 in the morning.

There was a balcony that wraped across the loungeroom and main bedroom with a table and four chairs which was great to sit out on and overlook the beautiful beach and get a good view of planes flying in.

The apartments are very secure with your room key needed to activate the gate for the car park as well as the front door and lift. Phil the hotel manager was very friendly and polite at all times with great tips on where to eat and places to visit.

Apartments are very centraly located only 10 minute drive from Coolangatta Airport and only 20 minute drive to Surfers Paradise. Some of the shops across the road were, Subway, Cold Rock Ice Creamy, Thai Restaurant, Chinese Restaurant, Indian Restaurt, Pizza Bar, Sushi Bar, Chemist, Surf Shop, mixed business Chemist and many others and there was also a coles supermarket five minutes walk away and two Doctors nearby.

It was a two minute walk to the local surf club which served delicious meals and only two minutes walk to a lovely patrolled beach which was not only great for swimming but also for morning and evening walks.

The apartments had a spa and pool and a games room which consisted of table tennis, pool table, exercise bike, two arcade game machines and a drinks machine. The games room was located in the carpark but we never smelt any fumes from the cars whilst we were there.

The only complaint that I would have is that there was no screen door from the loungeroom to the balcony only a sliding door, which when left open let in a cool breeze but in summer time it would let in the bugs as well.

We would definatly stay at this accommodation again when visiting the Gold Coast

“What a view”

Our family of five stayed in Unit 27 - top floor at the front of the building overlooking the ocean and Jefferson Lane.

The unit was spotless, fully removated and so clean. The views, up and down the coast line, on the spacious decks were second to none, the breeze and sound of the waves was exectly what we were hoping for from the brouchure.

So close to a variety of shops at Palm Beach.

We are booked in again for three weeks next year.

Thanks to all - wonderful.

“Book me in for 2009! Loved it!”

What a holiday! We stayed in the penthouse unit with a massive balcony. From all areas of the living room we had uninterrupted views out to the ocean. We could also see all the way from Surfers down to Coolongatta. The unit looked as if it had recently been refurbished as it was brand new inside. Two large bedrooms also - both with an ensuite. There were great shops nearby and the beach was soooo close. I could see the flags from the lounge room! Can't wait to come back next year.
