This was our second stay at Royal Pines and we enjoyed our stay again. Stayed in the new executive suites on the top floor (22nd). We did like the room but it didn't blow our minds. Yhe spa was a real let down and was smaller than those in the cheaper spa suites. At $315 (with reservations saying this price is likely to rise) possibly not worth it - lets say I wouldn't book this room type again at this price or especially a higher price.
We really enjoy staying at Royal Pines but there are 2 things they need to improve:
1. Don't boost about having 4-5 restaurants if only 1 is open on Sunday - Tuesday. They should at least open 1 more restaurant so you have some choice (also open One Spa 7 days a week)
2. Yes the Ladies Masters had been on and I was trying to get a game in a teams event but trying to get a game of golf was like pulling hens teeth. I tried to book on 3 separate ocassions and still missed getting a game. The golf operations Manager or his staff (he failed to return my call twice) are poor at passing on messages or returning calls. I was bounced around on the phone between reservations and the switch on numerous ocassions and then told to book through Go Golfing it was discouraging to say the least
Overall we really like Royal Pines but there are a few things they need to improve to deserve a higher rating
