We had a twin bed apartment with lounge, bathroom and kitchen. As often is the case in Spain the beds were hard. The balcony had a lovely west facing view over typical scrubland with umbrella pines and a mass of colourful spring flowers. In the evenings we watched horses and a rabbit catcher. In March (Easter) the hotel was surprisingly quiet and the long, white sandy beach near the hotel was almost deserted. The Costa de la Luz tends to be windy and we had some very windy days. We took advantage of its position to visit Cadiz and return to Jerez to see the amazing show at the Escuela del Arte Ecuestre. The apartment and hotel public areas were clean and staff helpful. There was a large swimming pool ideal for the summer. The food available in the hotel was expensive but there was an excellent supermarket round the corner. They charge for parking on site but at this time of year there was room on the road outside. This seemed a relatively new area and we didn’t find any local bars to walk to, although there was a bar in the hotel..
