My partner and I stayed in the room across the road from the main building and although it looked OK from the outside the rooms were very dark and dingy inside. There are no windows so if you want any light you have to have the doors open. The room was a decent size for the two of us however there were very limited kitchen utensils so couldnt really eat anything in the apartment and if you wanted to use the kettle had to plug it in by the bed as there were limited electrical sockets. Paid for the air conditioning for the two weeks but the actual unit was in the other room so slept in a single bed all holiday!
when people are moving about in the other rooms you can hear every little noise. The bathroom/shower was very small and there was no-where to store your things, you had to leave a towel on the floor when you shower as the water goes everywhere as the drains are not that good. The maids cleaned well in the first week but in the second week we didnt have our towels changed for five days and the bed seemed to be done when they felt like it.
The pool area was nice, and the beach is just down a few steps so location wise I was happy.
Only ate in the pool bar a couple of times, pizzas were really nice but the rest was average. Dont think I would be going back again.

stayed in the main building holiday was for two weeks with husband and two kids the room we where given was dark and dingy smell of stale urine, and was not very clean the cleaning staff did not do there job as far as we were concerned.
there was no evening entertainment the tv in the lounge/bar was arabic no english channels. pool closed way to early it was closed at half five each evening and sometimes earlier depending on the mood of the bar man.
the apartment did not cater for four people there was not enough kitchen utensils to do any cooking in the aapt and you had no choice but to eat out each day.
i found that the staff where very unfriendly and would never go back would have came home after the first week if we could.

We booked a week at these apartments as my hisband had always thought they looked nice and the write up about them seemed friendly enough.
We were given a room across the road from the main building.
There is no windows in these rooms on the ground floor level. All you have is the door, once these are shut with the shutter closed you are in pitch blackness.
The room also smelled damp. We had a constant leak from the cistern and three times we reported this, once a 'handyman' came to have a look at it, he brought no tools, but claimed he had fixed it. The leak was still there when we left. Judging by the black mold at the back of toilet, this leak had been there for some time.
You had to put a towel outside the bathroom door at night, that was to dry your feet on once you had come out of the toilet.
The room was also situated beneath the pool bar/restaurant and we were wakened every morning quite early to crates being moved, chairs & other restaurant bits & bobs getting moved about. I think they also did the laundry as well, we had pipes running down inside the walls and you could constantly hear water running down them.

The area around the apartments was nice enough, and the sea front location was great.
At around 4 - 5pm each day, you could see the turtles popping up out of the sea for air, and the sea is shallow for a good way out, and warm.
All in all we had a good holiday, but I would have complained about the room had we been staying for a fortnight. That put a bit of a downer on the holiday.

Denise Beach is in a great location . Right on the beach with loads of sun beds some rooms are small but i am going back on 17/06/04 for the third year.MOST ROOMS HAVE A BALCONY OR TERACE AND THE FOOD IS GOOD
