i was here the start of september with 3 other friends the workers were very rude to us they did not like us from day 1 one of ma friends was sick on the bed sheets and they charged her 50 euros of her money they sheets did not cost that much plus on the day we were leavin they would not give 2 of my friends there passport cause they says that they had broke the door handle on the green doors try to charged them 30 euros the door locked they were just out to see what they could get would not recommand this hotel to anyone .

ive just retuned from these apartments where i can honestly say it was better than i expected with there only being 45 appartments you seem to mingle with people more the rooms are basic but clean the down side of the room is the shower when you have a shower so does every thing else in the room as theres no curtains i reccommend the air con but thats extra charge but it is a bit extreme at 40 euros for the week the food is a decent price and of decent quality a proper english fry up 5 euros. laganos is about 20 to 30 mins walk depend how fast you walk so i reccoend a cab at 6 euros i would definatly reccomend this hotel as a 2 star hotel its good and eleive me when i say ve stopped in 3 star plus worse

The only down side to these 'Apartments' unfortunately was the angry bald security guard with a perfectly groomed beard :D

I stayed there with 7 friends - best week of my life, ok a little bit out of the way but that is nice when you are hungover - great food - maybe a little pricey but there is a supermarket 20 seconds away, which beware has the security guards twin... he is not such an angry guy.

We flew in the night and arrived at 5 am. The apartments are located 15 minutes taxi from the airport so no need to transfer just jump into a cab for 20 euros.

Hotel rooms were basic but did the job, my and my mate had a poolside room and this turned into the communal room and we were aloud to play music at top volume throughout the day.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming, Maria sorts you out with the best food offered when you are not able to function enough to make your own decisions... drinks are a little overpriced.

Pool was a decent size and the ratio between Guys and Girls was spectacular, there was only one other group of guys at the apartments, this was the complete opposite in the town unfortunately.,

Besides security there is one major negative to beware of.. when walking back to the hotel you have to turn left down a little road, walking back from town, there is a block of apartments just before the hotel entrance. Beware of anybody late at night calling you over or around there. A serbian tried mugging me but i managed to run away with just a kick to the ribs however one girl that we met out there got mugged after we left and i can only assume it was the same guy as it was in the same situation.

Just stick with your friends!!!

Me and my friend have just spent a week in the Aphrodite apartments, and to be honest i would of loved to stay there another week it was brilliant the cleaners cleaned our room everyday gave us new towels everyday, the rooms were pretty basic but what we paid i didn't expect much more. The annoying thing was the shower you had no curtain so it was basically a swimming pool in your bathroom oh and your not allowed anyone from outside the apartments in the Aphrodite security will go pretty mad, no problems otherwise the bar was pricey but we nipped to the supermarket down the road and bought beer and food witch was fine but you cant eat anything around the pool if bought out of the apartments. The pool was very clean and it had a really good vibe there everyone got on really well. If i go back to Zante i would stay there again defiantly.
