Booked this hotel through Thomson's and the brochure advertises this as a small hotel with seven studio's with breakfast incuded.
This is not true, it is a much larger hotel and if Thomson's overbook, as they are doing, you do not get a studio but a room with no facility's.
The breakfast consits of bread, margarine, jam and dry biscuits and a cup of tea or coffee, for 2 weeks this was diabolical.
There is a road seperating the hotel from the pool and it is a bit of a rat run with cars flying past regularly even though it is No Entry one way.
There is a separate building that houses stopover passengers for the cruise ships and other islands and these passengers are coming and going at all times during the night and early morning.
Thomson's brochure advertises that the hotel as a bar, Not True, there is a pool bar that opens at 11am sometimes and closes at 7pm but there is no bar in the hotel itself.
We made the most of our stay at the Estia but we were lucky enough to have a studio so could make our own breakfast but beware, you may not get what you are expecting.
Santorini is a lovely place and we shall certainly return but not to the Estia hotel
