The hotel does not offer a 3 star quality service, in reality is looks pretty bad:old furniture, the toilet is awful and doesn't work properly, the cleaning service is basicaly inexistent, the staff and the owner are totally unprofessional, make another choice!

Bad: The rooms are equiped with very old furniture. the toilet didn't work properly. The hotel is up on a hill and is pretty far from the town; no eggs, vegetables, fruits on breakfast - the same breakfast all days.

good: beeing fare is quiet, free wifi Internet but only in the lobby,

I recomend this hotel only if you can book it cheap.

The hotel is up the hill which gives an advantage from my point of view; is very quiet around and being on the upper part of the island gives a very nice view. We had the chance (of course we asked for) to get a balcony, beach view room. The balcony was large, table and chairs and very cozy. The room was remarkably clean; towels changed and cleaning every day which was a treat. The beds were comfortable, the room large enough and the wooden stores kept a very pleasant temperature (no aircon needed even though available). The pool was one of the best around, people from villas around were coming there, some palm trees giving you sun protection, pool bar with drinks & snacks (pizzas, sandwiches, etc). Staff was very friendly but was tiring you a bit (all around the island actually) with "Where are you from" question.
On the lower end, the TV was a no go...poor quality and almost no channels to watch.

Overall I would recommend this hotel for its tidiness, good view, good pool and quietness and relaxation atmosphere.

We have stayed in Hotel Argo two weeks ago. Hotel is a complex of several buildings with 4 rooms. My husband and I were in one of those rooms. There was a review that room has a satelite TV but it had only 4 greek channels and one bbc news channel. Ok, it was not something bad but somethimes when we were too exausted it was boring to watch TV without understanding. The room was really nice. It had a baldahin over the bad and it was very clean. Every day we had new towels and everything was cleaned. The view was ok but we had a room in lower deck so we couldnt see the sea. The toilet was old and not so great. The breakfast was average and boring. I have read on this forum that they have a barbecue every week - we didnt. Nothing like that. Anyway Hotel Argo was nice and I would go there again for sure. We had 5 min to the centar of the Kamari and it was quiet and nice.
