We stayed at the Argo Hotel in August.We found the young man very very helpful and our room was lovely the only negatives are, the towels are so rough they don't use softener , they serve the same breakfast everyday,the tv never worked and there was no kettle,the rooms are cleaned everyday. Although not on the beach it is in a nice location 5 min walk to the beach.Please be careful if you go on the Volcano boat trip they often mention the restaurant Captain John Dont be sucked in this place is self serve with no prices they rush you in and as you pay they type it on the calculator we decided to check the prices before we left because they seemed high and when we got the menu (with a struggle) they over charged us by 8.00 euros

The hotel looks OK from outside but the room where we stay was awful - the furniture was old, the toilet was like in a bad dream...if you took a shower the water was everywhere .... As I understood there are rooms which were renovated so if you really want to book a room at this hotel, make sure you will receive a room with new furniture and a clean toilet. The breakfast was basically not so variety but OK from my point of view[no eggs, bacon ]
I do not recommended this hotel if you pay for a 3 star hotel & if you have expectation for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is nice, clean and has a lovely view. If you're allergic to cats don't go there :)) I love cats, so it's been great having breakfast with at least 10 of them ;))

I arrived at the hotel at 8 o'clock in the morning after the whole night travelling..... as I got there it looked very nice with a wonderful seaview......when I got inside I tried to have my check-in done (even if i perfectly knew that I had to wait to get my room)....but I couldn't find anyone there!!!I waited 20 minutes when finally this woman arrived and told us to come back at 1 pm to get the room....room that unfurtunately didn't have balcony, but the day after we could change it and get a better one! The room where we slept the first night was awful....really terrible....old old fashion, terribly small.......almost difficult to get in the bathroom aswell!Then we changed room that looked better, with a very nice seaview....but one day there was no water in the toilette, and two days after no hot water!!
Talking about breakfast......... very poor: two types of bread, 4 types of marmelade, yogurt, cereals, cheese, ham, salami,orange juice,coffe, milk and tea! non buiscuits,no fruit, no croissants!!!! The hotel's staff??completely unprofessional and absent....if you had a problem you couldn't find anyone at the reception!! If you are allergic to cats don't go there, it is full....and they come around your table when you're having breakfast in the morning....not very igenic! It is not at 3 stars hotel at all!
