Please ignore the bad reviews,I was abit neverous to say the least having read some of the reviews on here.However me(23) and my boyfriend(25) went on the 30th sep for 1week self catering.Yes the hotel is basic but it is very clean which is what you want on holiday,the room is just a base you wont be spending all day in there.The pool is very nice and not to noisy to go and sit round.The resort its self is a wonderful place with lots to do in the day and night.The resteraunts do set menus which are fantastic price and can not be more fresh to the palet.Yes the resort was getting quite at this time of year but all the places still had a nice atmosphere.I have stayed in 5x hotel all around the world and fantastic resorts.cala'n Bosch in up there on my top list.Like any place you go abord there is bound to be at least one typical Bristish pub,here it was chaplins,I would recommed you look for the little spanish places around the marina which are fantastic.We made some womderful friends with the locuals and are going to book back for next year.

we were all inclusive family of 5 2x45yr, 2x19yr, and 1 15yr old.had 1st floor rooms (great did email 2wks before) we are fussy eaters but can honestly say the food was fab! bit gutted the only snacks were between 11am and 1pm at the pool bar. should have snacks at about 10pm for everyone. we went on 29th sept for 1 week, kids upset that the water park was closed on 12th sept, we were told it shuts the begining of oct. no resteraunts open after 11pm ish. the marina is the only entertainment place to go at night chaplins does great food and cheap. chinese resterant was awful. the beach was great no water activities though. the staff at marinda couldnt be any better, we took part in the shooting vollyball etc, didnt like the 1 1/2hr drive from airport. found it hard to get cigarettes as the tobaconist closed the day we got there. would love to back no later than the begining of september. kids will love this place!

This was our first experience of an all inclusive holiday and we were a little apprehensive, we knew the Island quite well and Cala n Bosch has 2 small but good beaches, a super new marina, lots of restaurants and bars all very friendly. The hotel itself is fantastic yes the apartments need an upgrade and did smell musty and yes we did have ants on our first night when we arrived at 11pm but a cleaner was called and all our problems were sorted there and then, all the reception staff were exceptional and even at that late hour some food had been arranged for us in the restaurant downstairs. We didn't have a rep and although we were unsure of what exactly came under the heading of 'All inclusive', we just asked the bar staff, (their English was fantastic) ice creams were small but the boys had as many as they liked, lots of alcoholic drinks were included, Martini, vodka, rum, whiskey and beer to name a few. The 'experience' entertainment staff were the hardest working team we have ever seen, constant entertainment for kids and adults from 11am til 11pm, evenings were just as good. Reception gave us times for buses to Cuitedella and Mahon and some fab info about the festival that was on whilst we were there which lead to the boys having an experience of a lifetime at the St Joan festival. The fact is we can't rave enough about the place, and the only very small downside was the apartment but for OUR needs we lived with it. I would advise trying for an upstairs apartment as it seems these were slightly better but on the whole this is a very good hotel and all the staff are brilliant. Food in the restaurant was good with lots of choice especially for children, i have one fussy boy who always found something he liked, I think my husband and I had a couple of nights where nothing really took our fancy but out of 14 days thats not bad. Pool bar did hot dogs, burgers and chips from 11 -1pm but the restaurant is open til 3pm for lunch so you don't really need the pool bar for food, it stayed open til 6 for drinks and ice creams.
All in all this was a positive experience for us and we still laugh at the songs we learnt at the kids disco!

just back after one weeks stay, staff were very helpful reception staff were great apartment was clean as was the rest of the hotel just needing a little tlc food could have been a lot hotter but all in all a lovely place entertainment rubbish
