Interested in how many people have booked for this season through Thomas Cook to have been told they no longer have the contract with the hotel?? We booked in May last year for June of this, making the most of early booking discounts and free child spaces. Holiday cancelled but we can book at todays prices to elsewhere....RIP OFF. Thomas Cook will not offer any discounts at all despite having our deposit for & months!!!!

We have visited this hotel twice in the past.

Came back here from last year. This must be the best location in the resort, overlooking the harbour with a safe friendly environment. Above the street level from the pool area, which gives a great vantage point to savor the atmosphere at night, which is kept free of unwelcome nightclub noise by the midnight music off rule, save for one indoor club. The restaurants are of a very good food standard and enough variety to last all holiday. Quality beach on your doorstep and reliable cheap bus service for those who want to venture further afield. You will have to search long and hard to find better.

Travelled on 25th September with our 1 year old daughter. The apartments are perfect for families with plenty of room and a kitchenette overlooking the pool and marina. They were cleaned everyday and there is a 24 hour supermarket inside which is great, although there are numerous shops around.

Beautiful restaurants - La marina and those on the closer side of the marina do fantastic menu del dias at great prices. We enjoyed drinks in Don Carlos too.

The beach is lovely and take a trip to Ciutadella - a 15 minute journey on a bus outside the hotel. It's lovely.

Overall a great family holiday and perfect for those with children. It was the end of the season and we spent most of the week by the pool on our own and the last day we had the entire hotel to ourselves! perfect! There was no entertainment or food which didnt bother us but I can't comment on it.

I went with my girlfriend mid September 2011. Hotel was nice, had to wait for room on arrival at 2pm for 45 minutes. Pool area was good, always plenty of loungers and parasols. Room was clean and had BBC 1+2 to watch. I did come home with a few ugly looking bites on my chest and arms but can't be sure if this happened in room or outside. Hotel has a small 24 hour shop that is really useful for things such as water, chocolate etc.
The big plus of this hotel is the location, 2 minutes to walk into the centre with all the restaurants and the beach just across the road. A non returtanable 22 Euros for the safety deposit box is scandalous for one week!! Make sure you include this in your budget. You also have to vacate the room by 10am on day of deaparture, it was fine for us as we had an early flight but if it's later, could prove a bit of a pain with quite a cost. Restaurants are good but if you want real quality, head to the Lighthouse restaurant, more expensive but top-end food. The duck was gorgeous!! Weather was sunny, around 25-27'C most days.
