Hotel itself is very unique-its a very strange design. But it has everything you need-great pool, great spa and its located right at the beach .We got a sea view and it was really worth it the extra money. The staff were very helpful and really went of there way to help us with anything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay here-we moved from the Sheraton to this hotel and were really impressed..much better value for money...but i would say it a 4 star not 5 star

We have just returned from the Geranios Suites and felt it appropriate to place some comment as early as possible.
We had issues with the apartment and stayed in three apartments in total during the two week stay. However that is not the main reason for wanting to place a review as soon as possible, the main issue is that this property is being advertised as a 5 Star establishment….It’s not and guests should not be hoodwinked into thinking that they are paying for a 5 star. We placed this firmly as a 3 Star and the hotel should advertise as such.
There are many Health & Safety issues that affect the rating as well as its poor facilities.
The key issue that affected our trip was a back up of sewerage at the north end of the corridor and lack of action by the hotel to repair the situation or to assist guests who reported the problem and refused to stay in the rooms closest to the smell of methane gas.
Other issues include leaking air conditioning, swimming pool area dirty and pool surround breaking up leaving splinters.
The dismal attempts at providing entertainment was depressing and the bar closed as soon as possible,
If anyone wants’ to compare this hotel with a 5 Star, they should go next door to the Sheridan and compare.
I would never recommend the Geranios Suites to anybody. Compared to Bewleys at Manchester Airport I would say that this is an avarage 3 Star property and one to be missed.

stayed here for 1 night as our thomas cook flight home was cancelled, and im very glad it was only 1 night!! took us 20mins to find the room and the corridors are so dark, and the place is like a maze, when we got into the room we was impressed looked very nice, had very nice kitchen,

the bathroom as we opened the door it smelt of onions??? thay had a new hair dryer thing fited to the wall but where thay taken the old one away thay just left big holes in the wall didnt even fill them in,

the beds in the rooms we found very hard!! we had to leave the bedroom doors leading out to the balcony open all night as the aircon dont work, well it does but hardly and it was so hott!! in the room, i spent ages trying to work it but no luck so as we had a sea faceing room there was a nice wind blowing,

the resturant cant really coment on as only had 1 meal there and that was dinner and breakfast the dinner seemed fine, there was a fair choice of food,
breakfast was good you have a choice of really everything u could think of, the choclate donuts was very nice!! and very large croisants

overall i wouldnt like to stay at this hotel for 2weeks no way!!
oh and noway is this hotel a 5star!! i would say its more 3star,
ive stayed in better 3star hotels in my past than this hotel,

First impressions very nice hotel rooms where spotless and room service every day the staff where friendly but struggled with english which is ok untill you have a problem ,we took two teenagers there was very little to do if you want a non stop holiday this is probably not the resort or hotel for you,personally i hate busy hotels but this was at the other end of the scale the bar was never open and there was no entertainment provided in the hotel at most there where 40 people round the pool which was a plus point but it was a bit like a ghost town within the hotel.we stayed for two weeks and to be honest after the first week boredom did start to kick in ,the spa is excellent you do have to pay extra but it is well worth a visit book a massage fantastic... i notice on previous reviews most people say it is not 5 star we stayed self catering basis and i must say i would give the room 5 stars as a selfcatering apartment but where the hotel loses a couple of stars for me is the lack of anything else to do after you have been in the pool and spa all day it would be nice to go for a meal and then a drink in the bar all in all 7 days would be enough , i would use the hotel again but would probably just go with my husband if we wanted somewhere to totaly chill... and do nothing.
