good times were held by one an all food ,service by staff were excelent

What can i say, having read the reports on these appts i must admit i was bracing myself on what to expect. when mark and myself arrived yes it was quite in the hotel lounge, david who was there to greet us was really lovely and showed us to our appt and even carried my case!!! not many men do that. yes the appts are basic but clean and in all fairness all we wanted to was have somewhere to lay our heads and get a shower. The meals that we ate were lovely, i dont eat meat so wasnt really expecting that much of a choice for me, but there was alwys a fish dish on and lovely rice dishes and vegetables. Mark had spareribs, chicken, beef, pork so if that wasnt a variety then i dont know what people are expecting. This was a very cheap holiday and we couldnt stay in sunny blackpool for what we paid. There was about 10 of us there and yes we were part of the bingo queens!!! we had a laugh with each other and all became friends. The pool was amazing a bit cool at first but you needed it because it was so hot. Daniela who worked there was friendly and willing to help. We enjoyed feeding the chipmunks on our way into calletta and taking in the view of the sea we even saw some pilot whales. Its probably not a place for small children because theres nothing for them to do. Would we go back? definatley we will be there nxt sept. So all these who have complanied best thing i suggest is go 5 star and have your towel made into a swan. just come back from the piramide apartments cant wait till next year when we are going to go back. The hotel is basic but we were only expecting 2 star and it exceeded our expectations.David, Nadia ,Daniella and all the staff were fabalous nothing was too much trouble. We met loverly people and made our own entertainment in the evenings playing bingo having quizzes etc.The pool was loverly and our loungers were right outside the room by the pool,i've never had that in a 5 star hotel.Food was good always reasonable choice and plently of it.

Just come back from our second stay at La Piramide and yet again had a fantastic 2 weeks holiday, the apartments are clean and cleaned regularly and fresh towels every other day. The food is basic but i have to say it was even better this year, what you have to remember is you pay for a 3 star apartment so you shouldnt expect 5 star food!! I read some other reviews and I have to say that if you dont like anything on offer at meal times then you must be EXTREMELY fussy as there is always something tasty there. We had a couple of people moaning that there was fish on every day as one of the choices of meat but that is quite normal out there as they eat a lot of fish and i for one enjoyed it. The only thing that was dissapointing is the bus that used to take you into Caleta in the mornings is now gone and the lady from the shop takes you in a car which is a bit of a pain if there is lots of people waiting to go down, but the coastal walk is great and you can hand feed the lovely cxhipmunks and they dont bite you we often bought a bag of monkey nuts and went and sat on the many benches on the sea front and fed them for hours. It was very quiet when we went this time but i expect thats due to the credit crunch but David, Andre, Daniella and Nadia were fantastic - even though they seemed to be rushing round, Nadia speaks fluent English so if you have any problems shes the best one to see to sort out. Over all I loved it there and would certainly have no problems going back there for a 3rd time. If you want to just chill out and relax then this is the place for you, if you want lively and noisy then this is not for you. Anyone reading this who is just about to go for the first time then go with an open mind - and enjoy!!
