We booked a 2 bedroom apartment at Talisman this time around.

Location of this building is outstanding. Across the road from patrolled beach and very close to restaurants. The undercover parking is fantastic.

The only challenge was that the apartment we stayed at was very dated. Whilst everything was functional it is in need of a good upgrade to carpets, furniture and bathroom.

When I checked with ladies in Reception to see why we were not allocated a renovated apartment as we would ... they both kept avoiding my question. They confirmed that some apartments are renovated and that the rates are actually the same.

I then asked again why we would not allocated a renovated apartment and they told me that there was nothing wrong with the one we had.

They then asked me if I had something in writing to confirm apartment number or the fact that I was going to stay in a renovated apartment.

Anyways ... poor explanation such as this and lack of honesty leaves a bad taste behind and unfortunately means we will give this building a miss next time.

This was a great place to stay in Broadbeach. Amazing panoramic views, and a minute from the beach. Very helpful staff. Broadbeach is a lot of fun, and the restaurants even stay open past 8pm which is a miracle for Queensland.

We have just come back from 10 days at talisman in a 2 bedroom apartment. We had a fantastic time, the location was amazing. You could just walk across a quiet road to the beach, which is better than a lot of apartments in Broadbeach. The apartment was really well equipped, and light and modern. Fantastic views on the 23rd floor! Supermarket and restaurants only 5-10 minute Walk. The grounds were immaculately kept. We will be back.

We had a two bedroom apartment overlooking the beach; well furnished, plenty of space, great facilities - excellent pool with depth of 1.2 metres to 1.8 metres, adjoining spa and also a sauna. Plenty of options - use the pool, or cross the road to walk on the beach, or swim. Excellent lock up parking if you have a car. A short walk to all Broadbeach shops, eating places galore and Pacific Fair shopping is only about 15 minutes walk away. Air conditioning and ceiling fans for when it is hot. We didn't want to leave.
