“$92 e tra charge to put dishes away”

Arrived and treadmill out of order 2 weeks later still out of order.
Upon arrival found bottles under lounge and very basic cooking equipment.
After leaving apartment we placed towels in bathroom and washed dishes (didn't put them away) and apparently the stove top had oil from using their terrible cheap pans to cook with. Got call from a woman telling me that my card had been charged $92 for extra clean and told we were dirty and unclean. When asked to explain told of above, 20 minutes extra $92 what crap

“Very Surprised”

After reading all the information from previous guests we were a bit apprihensive on staying at the resort. Upon arrival we were greated by Sharon who was very helpful and answered all our questions. The room was only OK, had some cleaning issues, told Sharon about them and she sent the cleaners up to fix them up. We stayed for 7 nights. The resort is only a hop skip and jop into Broadbeach, a peaceful walk along the river. However we did have a not so pleasant incident with another reception staff member during our stay. I think it was all to much for her to help us. The room was spacious and we had a nice view over the south of Gold Coast. We will be back.

“Amazing!”

Just got back from 7 nights with our 4 kids. Was not expecting too much as the price was VERY decent, but when we got there it was just beautiful! The room was enormous, facilities very clean.... Im very surprised by the people complaining about the no toilet paper, washing liquid ect as im a little confused at to what they thought they were going to when the facility ADVERTISES - FULL SELF CATERING apartment..... ... if you want to juggle some numbers around jupiters casino is actually more expensive and you would have nothing other than a room and 2 x double beds (this is where most of our friends stayed and they nearly died when visiting us who paid $200 less for the week)
Reception was friendly, the cafe downstairs is pricey so I wouldnt eat there. Pool and Gym facilities very clean.

We will definately be returning

Room Tip: if you can get a view on the pool side I think they are nicer

“Overcharged for a filthy dirty room and facilities”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

We chose to stay here as we had done a year ago. This time the price was higher but we did accept that when we booked, however to find out 3 weeks before the rooms were half price was a slap in the face and when we made contact the response was bad luck. As we had paid in advance for 10 nights we he no option but to stay there. One we arrived we got our key OK and then when we got to the room the carpet were dirty the lounges had stains on them the bathrooms were shocking they had build up of scum in the showers drains smelt and the drain covers were dirty. When the children wanted to swim the advice offered of getting a towel for the pool was not available as they had no pool towels one day would be OK but to be without pool towels for two days was crazy. The common areas in the walkways had no air moving through them at all so made a very warm uncomfortable atmosphere. Most staff were pleasant to deal with (with the exveption of a grumpy lady on reception) but nothing was done to
rectify based on this terrible experience I would not recommend this for others an we will not be staying here again. Sorry for the long post

“Very comfortable stay, no hassles, excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

Our family of 4 stayed 7 nights in a 2 BR apartment - room 2608 (2nd lift core, 6th floor). View was OK but not one of the better ones – to the SW, with a view of Jupiters Casino and the mountains. The apartment was very roomy, comfortable and well appointed. Reception very helpful and apartment was clean and properly provisioned. One of the sofas was a bit grubby, otherwise everything as hoped for. It was school holidays and parking on B1 was hard to come by but lots of spare spots down on B2.

Location is very good – Convention Centre is 100 metres away, Casino on the other side of the road is about 200 metres away. Broadbeach shopping district, lots of cafes & restaurants and a Woolworths supermarket with free undercover parking is about 300 metres away. Pacific Fair shopping mall (and Coles supermarket) about 800 metres away. Patrolled beach, probably 800 metres. Convenience store & takeaway about 100 metres. A block away major arterial roads so little in the way of noise as well. We went to Dracula's Cabaret opposite Pacific Fair one evening and it was an easy and safe walk.

The kitchen was excellent - household size upright fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, oven. Lots of bench space. Crockery etc for 6. We prepared a couple of dinners there, although there are heaps of restaurants nearby.

Beds were very comfortable & extra pillows provided. Hanging space in the master bedroom was more than adequate (about 3 metres of space), but only 9 hangers supplied – I guess some people bring their own. Almost no shelf space to put clothes, just the 2 drawers in each of the bedside tables. Heaps of storage space for cases etc though. Medium size flatscreen TV in the master bedroom. Ensuite is in the modern style, with clear glass (and a blind) toward the bed. No door either. Main bathroom is more conventional.

The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds & is of adequate size. The curtains aren’t quite wide enough for the window, so lots of early morning light around the edges.

In the lounge/dining area there is a large flatscreen TV with cable, DVD player & CD player.
A sofa & sofabed and single lounge chair. Dining table with 6 chairs.

Nice big covered balcony with table & chairs.

Gym, pool & café on the ground floor. Café was reasonably priced & made adequate coffee.
We enjoyed our stay – would happily stay here again.
