I look for the good in everything, but this was the least enjoyable stay I've had in a long long time. From the time we checked in at 3pm, the stay went down hill. Arriving at 3 in the afternoon in an off peak season, you'd expect your room to be ready right? Na uh! We had to wait half an hour for it to be cleaned. We were informed if we wanted under cover parking, that there is only 56 parks for 142 units and we'd have to park on the street if we couldn't squeeze in. Our room was stinking of cigarette smell, the king bed was two singles pushed together, the towel rack fell off the wall as soon as we touched the towels, the bathroom was full of mould, there was witches hats in the corridor where the carpet has been pulled up and a mouldy damp patch which we just could not work out. The breakfast was terrible. not enough seating, chefs who were eating food out of the hotboxes as they walked to and from the kitchen. The food continuously ran out and there was a wait as they served up 4 eggs at a time, 5 pancakes at a time, etc. There was zero bacon for 20 minutes and when it did come out, it wasn't even bacon. I have no idea what it was but it was gross. The cold food was just on the table, not on a chiller block and was covered with fly nets. God knows how long the yoghurt had just sat out for. The reception staff could not give us clear directions to a 7 11. One said one way, the other said the other way up the street. We got this as a lastminute secret deal and even at the discounted price of $190 I wouldn't recommend this place. I'd hate to have paid full price. And if you think you're getting a spa room, please note, the spa is a one person deal. Tiny. It was too grubby to use anyway. The only positive for this place and the reason we stayed here was because of it's close proximity to Draculas cabaret restaurant.

Stayed here just for one night on a wotif deal. It's rated as 4 stars but it's definitely not. If you expect 3 stars you would be happy. The shower grout was pretty grubby and the furniture on the balcony is long overdue for replacement. It was fine to stay in for a night but not the place if you're there for a week. You would find it hard to self cater in the very tiny kitchen. The staff were very informative and efficient.

I am really confused about this place. It is neither a hotel, resort or self contained unit complex. The one bed studio that we stayed in was tiny but the lounge suite and carpet looked fairly new. Unfortunately that's all the good points. The tiny balcony had a table that was so unstable things kept falling over and there was just room for four very old and uncomfortable plastic chairs. Not that we spent much time outside because the noise from the highway was very loud. The unit had carpet everywhere (even in the kitchenette which is not practical). The room wasn't serviced (although we got fresh towels every day) but there was no broom or vacuum cleaner so you could keep the floor clean. There was no dishwasher so you might like to rewash all the dishes etc before you first use them. The sliding door to the balcony didn't lock. On arrival the fridge was half filled with cans of soft drink (mini bar) and we had to take them all out so we could fit our own drinks and food in. The pool area is okay but the BBQ is inside the pool area so no glass allowed. There is heaps of other accommodation at Broadbeach that is a lot newer and nicer than Savannah. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere where you will enjoy your holiday.
