This place was truly awful. I'm looking at the reviews from previous travelers and I think that they have to be the owners or friends of the owners. No one could truly believe that this hotel is "excellent" or "fabulous".
Restaurant was closed, pool was closed, hot spa pools were closed. TV in the room was twenty+ years old and had two channels.
Would strongly recommend that you avoid this place at all costs.

We (Group of 22) stayed two nights in November. We had been here before (A couple of years ago) The service just gets better, Mark and Anne really know how to make you feel welcome and nothing is a problem. The food is to die for!

Mark and Ann were fabulous. We had a large group that arrived in the middle of the night, and Mark was there to let us in straight away. He was even kind enough to open the bar at breakfast for us, considering we flew for 10 hours to get to Christchurch and then drove another hour to get to the hotel.... we were a little spun up.

The food is great! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole hotel staff is just lovely. They make you feel like you are truly a part of their family. Even though it is a resort, it feels like a high dollar American Bed and Breakfast. First class personalized service across the spectrum.

This hotel is close to the centre of town. My room was modern and comfortable. The restaurant had a good selection and my meal was very good. The dining area is next to an area where you can relax and have a few drinks. It would be a nice place to spend a couple hours after a day's skiing. The service was always very good. They have Internet facilities also. It was also a very reasonable room rate. I would definitely stay here again.
