True 5 star experience! All of the employees were delightful and very helpful.

The property was absolutely stunning - beautiful views of the vineyard and mountains. The hotel is beautiful, serene and truly relaxing. Our room was lovely - beautiful view of the vineyard, best bed ever, and awesome bathroom / shower.

The restaurant was superb. We ordered off the menu the first night and requested Tapas the second night which they were more than happy to accommodate - in fact they far exceeded expectations. The food and restaurant experience was outstanding.

The spa was stunning - lounging on the recliners overlooking the vineyard makes for a great afternoon. The wine tour was informative and enjoyable.

I wouldn't change anything about our experience at Can Bonastre - truly excellent!

We spent 3 nights at Can Bonastre with friends. The property is beautiful; the food was delicious and well presented; the service was professional and attentive; the wine was very good especially the Crianza and the Nara.

Summary: This hotel does not deserve your business.

I booked a 3 night stay from April 15th through April 18th as part of our honeymoon trip to Catalonia, Spain. I booked through the hotel's web site on March 7th, received email confirmation and I also confirmed the reservation on the phone (Reservation #48233509).

After our first 2 nights in Southern Catalonia, we called on the morning of April 15th to confirm that our room would be ready upon arrival. Can Bonastre told us that they could not find our reservation and that all of their rooms were booked with no availability. The worst part is that they were not surprised because they said they have lost reservations before. UNBELIEVABLE!

Their solution to this problem was to tell us to stay at another hotel. I planned our honeymoon around staying here because they only had 3 nights available in the middle of our trip. My wife and I were eagerly anticipating our stay at a wine resort and all that we have from Can Bonastre is disappointment.

We only ate at the tapas bar, but we wished we'd stayed at this magnificent place. The service and attention to detail are as impeccable as the surroundings. Their prices are pretty steep, but you get what you pay for, and we had a superb evening strolling in among the vines and sampling the wines and tapas. The charming receptionist, Montserrat, kindly recommended Restaurant Vinyanova in El Bruc to us, and we had a really memorable evening there too. Catalonia at its very best!
