Nice room, good beds, coffee & tea facilities, free internet (still too rare), cozy & warm but modern feel and interior, breakfast OK, close to road but had not issues with it. Room had a nice terrace. The downsides ... mmm? ... well, while on the terrace, I could have walked next door and stared through the large windows/doors. Not very relaxing that is.
The restaurant serves excellent food. Wine choice is not entirely in par but still good.
Would stay again when I need to be in the area.

The hotel is absolutely lovely and the staff are super friendly.
The only issue we had was that the company we booked them through advertised it as being in Amsterdam. It is not. If your trip is to spend time in Amsterdam i would suggest looking elsewhere. It is not difficult to get a bus to Amsterdam city centre as their is a bus stop a short walk up the road but it is about a 45 min - an hour journey and does take the shine off an amsterdam holiday.
Barring that slight miscalculation but considering that public transport is really easy to get used to the hotel was amazing. Clean, contemporary rooms, lovely country side etc etc.
The Restaurant that they highlight is not the best, overpriced and limited options. Especially if you dont eat fish and veal. I think they had like 15 main meals in total.
All in all Hotel is lovely if you dont mind the travel to see things.

Hotel is located in Mijdrecht, near the industry zone, just some miutes taxi ride from there. It is furnished in a rather stylish way, which makes the stay attractive. However, what makes me angry: it was really dark. The light bulbs (covered with dark red and black) did not spend enough light to read or work properly which is really a nuissance if you need to check your papers in the evening. Windows can be opened.

Breakfast buffet was included and was fine, however, the room again was a bit dark.

Dinner in the restaurant was really good, very friendly staff and good food.

We stayed at the hotel yesterday (20 August 2010). The first thing i recognized was the weird decorations... red velvet chairs, red lamps... kinda weird.
The rooms are not airconditioned and yes a big road is right next to it and during the nights its pretty loud and since you dont have a airconditioning you need to leave the window open.
Breakfast did not have to many choices but will definitely not send you on your way hungry.
They have a Restaurant there and we very much enjoyed our Dinner there.
The staff was nice and its close to Amsterdam. So if you need a place to stay and dont want to stay in the big city this hotel is definiteley recomened but if you want to stay at a nice hotel to enjoy some qualitytime hours i would choose a different hotel.
