We had had lovely stay at Hotel Adler. The staff were very friendly and really made you feel at home.
We had a great breakfast and enjoyed a really nice meal in the hotel restaurant.
We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony looking up at Lichenstein Castle, which looks amazing of a night when lit up.

very familiar, friendly staff, nice rooms - we were perfectly happy and w'll come back maybe next year! There's a marvellous castle on the hill, I could see it right from my room. In the evening you can use the bowling alley. They have a fantastic cook, who prepares freshly the best trout specialities.

Hotel had a great view of Castle Lichtenstein, and the owner was warm and friendly. Spoke really good english and was also the chef. The rooms were old, with stained carpets and dirty walls. Linen was clean though. It appears they do more business in food than in the hotel. They have tons of banquet space. Rooms are on the upper floors with no elevator. If you want no frills, cheap accomodations close to the castle I would reccomend. But if your looking for newer comfortable accomodations, I would skip.
