If you are looking for a peaceful place in an idyllic setting on the Pacific coast, this is it! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The dining and reception area under a huge circular thatched roof opens out to the terrace and infinity pool, and beyond that, the Pacific Ocean stretches out to the horizon. If you are lucky you will even spot a whale from the hotel terrace - we did! 187 steps lead down to great beaches where you can swim in the Ocean or sit in a long chair in the shade and enjoy a cool drink at one of the cafes on the beach. The hotel offers a really nice breakfast option and a French chef prepares a fabulous dinner a few times a week. Anne, the hotel owner, Mariana, the hotel manager and their friendly staff are lovely people who added to my enjoyment of this hotel.

One of the best hotels i have ever been (if not the best!). Casa Pan de Miel reunite all the main things you're looking for an excepional holiday: location, good weather almost all year round, service, clean and well-equipped rooms and peace!
This is the second time my family and i are spending holidays there and it's not going to be the last. We stayed for a week, just before Christmas but it always seems that you're in summer in Mazunte eventhough is winter. I was just landed from Norway and the only thing i was thinking is the beautiful views you get from the cliff where is situated the hotel and the beaches (San Agustinillo is like a pool while Mazunte is a bit more open sea). If you're comming with your family (only young kids are permitted at the hotel) the area has many activities to do: whale and dolphin's safaris( in between nov - jan), turtle museum, surf school, snorkeling and cocodriles watching are on the area. You can ask for further information at the hotel.
The hotel has a infinity pool perfect after a day on the beach or the entire day, terrace with hammocks in all the rooms with amazing views in case you don't want to leave the whole day. In the mornings breakfast are on the main "palapa" with ocean view. The food is really good, you even get homemade bread, mermelade, butter and crepes just tipical french as the owner (where she is from), or eggs in many ways. During that period we stayed, they had a chef named Ian who made really good dishes - a fusion of mexican/french seafood - well worth it to taste it! Hope he's still there! :) , you just have to order your dinner by appointments. Another thing i see very important is that the hotel is very committed to work with the environment and sustainability of the area like support the local products, hire local people and care of the water use.

We spend two nights at casa pan de miel and really enjoy our stay!! Everything from The location to The service is perfect! You have an incredible View on The ocean from The hotel and a direct access to One of the most beautifull beach of mazunte! Its a little paradise... Thank to all The staff That really make this place exceptionnal!!

Casa Pan de Miel is definetely the best place to stay in the area of Mazunte, if you want to have a high quality service with an amazing view, close to the beach and don't pay a huge fortune for it.
The breakfast in very good, next to the infinity pool, which is the best possible way to start the day.
Mariana, the manager is incredibly nice and gives you great advices on where to go and spend your time in the area, and follow her restaurant tips!
The restaurant has a 24hr security which really makes you feel safe.
The rooms are very clean and nice, sober, but fully equiped.
The wifi is not amazing, but it still allows you to check your email daily.
I would definitely go back!
