Just spent 11 days at this resort. Rooms are small but clean, not up to Ameriacan expectations.
Food is good, sometimes not so good. Bkf. is always the same, no variety. Problems with management, always "out of something."
Padded chairs in dining room had exposed foam rubber!

Landscaping needs to be improved, dead palm tree branches hanging down everywhere.

Beautiful Beach is public, no chairs!

But Martinique is beautiful. Has great infrastructure, clean water, excellent roads.
But it is crowded, especially on the beaches over the weekend.

This 3 star hotel is part of the Karibea Amandiers resort in Ste Luce.
Reception staff is quite good and helpful.

The hotel features so-called Junior Suites (30 sq. meters). These rooms are more adapted for a couple than for a family (limited space).
Thin walls again (you can enjoy your neighbour’s TV…).

Small swimming-pool. There is a public beach underneath the hotel which is invaded from 4 PM onwards by small hungry mosquitoes…

Good bar but it closed at 11 PM.
Food is good. Service can be sometimes erratic.
Buffet breakfast needs to improve: very limited choice and relatively low quality items.

We recently went to this hotel for Christmas and New Year. For a 3 star the hotel was above average. The rooms were basic and clean and the grounds were spotless. The meals we had were good especially the buffets and the New Year gala dinner. The staff were pleasant and hard working. Sometimes the bar service was a little slow and the bar was closed until 6 or 7 at night. So we just used our fridge in the room to keep drinks from the supermarket cold. There are rooms with kitchens available.

I dont think there are many 4 or 5 star hotels on the south of the island, but, as part of France the standards are high. We would go back to Martinique and wouldn't mind using this hotel again. The south of the island is lovely and the atmosphere very laid back.
