We spent one night there transit to other islands and found the place delightful. The staff was very friendly and mostly bi-lingual, and did their best to communicate with this non-French speaker. The grounds are arranged as a small village, the setting is very picturesque, and the well-maintained plantings are lush and colorful. The beaches are typical for Martinique, small with coarse gray sand. The rooms are large and somewhat sparsely furnished, and feature a large balcony (or first floor patio) with a serviceable outdoor kitchen (fridge, sink, stove, microwave, dinette table). All three TV stations are broadcast in French. We did not eat in the main dining room, preferring instead to enjoy a couple of their delicious take-out pizzas on our balcony. And with the Euro-US dollar exchange rate at an all-time low, be prepared to pay handsomely for everything. We would definitely return, but next time would rent a car as the hotel is somewhat isolated from town and other choices for meals.
